★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eindelijk een goede gitaarleraar.
Casper is mijn vijfde gitaarleraar en het klinkt misschien een beetje extreem maar na een maand les van Casper had ik reeds het gevoel meer geleerd te hebben dan van al die voorgaande gitaarleraren bij elkaar.
Bij die voorgaande gitaarleraren leerde ik voornamelijk liedjes spelen zonder dat ik de indruk had dat mijn gitaarspel en inzicht in de muziek er op vooruitging.
Daarnaast vond ik die leraren nogal vastgeroest in hun lesmethode, op out of the box vragen kreeg ik vaak een onbevredigend antwoord of ze stelde voor om daar later op terug te komen.
Zo niet bij Casper.
Op de website staat “gitaarlessen afgestemd op wat jij wilt leren” en dat maakt hij helemaal waar.
Casper heeft een zelf ontwikkeld flexibel lesprogramma wat breed toepasbaar is en waar alle facetten van het gitaarspel aan de orde komen zodat je echt beter gaat spelen.
Natuurlijk kun je bij Casper ook liedjes leren maar ik wil graag beter leren soleren over mijn Jam tracks en dat vult hij heel goed in.
Ik krijg vingeroefeningen waarbij ik ontdek dat mijn hand veel meer kan dan dat ik ooit voor mogelijk had gehouden.
Ik krijg onderricht in allerlei licks die ik kan gebruiken voor mijn Jam tracks.
Ik krijg meer inzicht in de structuur van muziek zodat ik mijn solopartijen meer kan laten variëren op mijn Jam tracks.
Ik kan alles vragen over gitaarspel en muziek en krijg dan duidelijke en leerzame feedback.
Kortom, een echte en hele goede gitaarleraar.
 Finally a good guitar teacher.
Casper is my fifth guitar teacher and it may sound a bit extreme but after a month of lessons with Casper I already had the feeling that I had learned more than from all those previous guitar teachers combined.
With those previous guitar teachers I mainly learned to play songs without having the impression that my guitar playing and understanding of the music improved.
In addition, I found those teachers quite stuck in their teaching method, to out of the box questions I often got an unsatisfactory answer or she suggested to come back to that later.
Not so with Casper.
The website says "guitar lessons tailored to what you want to learn" and he lives up to that.
Casper has developed a flexible lesson program that is widely applicable and where all facets of guitar playing are discussed so that you really start to play better.
Of course you can also learn songs with Casper, but I would like to learn to solo better on my Jam tracks and he fills that in very well.
I get finger exercises where I discover that my hand can do much more than I ever thought possible.
I am taught all kinds of licks that I can use for my Jam tracks.
I gain more insight into the structure of music so that I can vary my solo parts more on my Jam tracks.
I can ask anything about guitar playing and music and get clear and instructive feedback.
In short, a real and very good guitar teacher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As mostly a beginner on guitar, I have been taking lessons in English with Casper for several months now and I cannot recommend him more. He has a very flexible and tailored lesson plan based off my musical interests, so he really stays true to his 'I will teach you what you want to learn' style that he advertises.
I am currently learning both acoustic and electric guitar with him (from more classical style songs all the way to heavy metal) and each lesson he has been able to teach me exercises, techniques, and songs that fit my interests and can be applied to both styles. Casper is also very knowledgeable about guitars and equipment and is able to provide realistic recommendations on what to buy based of your needs, skill level, and future musical ambitions.
It is the first time I had a teacher that motivates me to want to pick up my guitar in my free time and play and practice, and also have fun while doing it
