Ik ben bij Tom terecht gekomen om heel diep voor een aantal stukken op de geschiedenis van de gitaar en de stukken in te gaan, maar ook om eens een andere docent te proberen. Al met al heel waardevol. Last year I went to Tom for a set of 10 lessons. I have been playing the guitar for three years now and have lessons with a different teacher every week. I ended up with Tom to go deeply into the history of the guitar and the pieces for a number of pieces, but also to try another teacher. All in all very valuable.

Ik was pas begonnen met gitaar leren spelen na mijn pensioen, maar we zijn van het absolute nulpunt in drie jaar tijd naar een niveau gekomen waarin ik blues kan spelen, zonder problemen akkoorden (ook het F akkoord en andere barre-akkoorden), klassieke stukken (Bach) en kampvuurklassiekers als Dust in the Wind en Hotel California, of nieuwer werk van bv. Ed Sheeran en andere singer-songwriters. Afgelopen zomer gestopt met spijt in mijn hart, maar door een verhuizing naar het buitenland werd de afstand te groot. Les bij Tom beveel ik aan voor iedereen. Ik heb bij voorspeeluurtjes en talentenjachten de resultaten van zijn werk mogen aanschouwen en wat opvalt is bovenal het plezier dat zijn leerlingen uitstralen en hoe professioneel Tom met ze omgaat. Kort gezegd: ben je op zoek naar een gitaarleraar in Hattem, ga op gitaarles bij Tom. Recent hebben we een half jaar alleen maar Zuid-Amerikaanse muziek gedaan Piazzolla, Pujol, Villa-Lobos en Cardoso. Af en toe een coaching voor het viool-gitaar duo dat ik met mijn vrouw vorm. Nu zijn we bezig met de blues en al haar vormen. Voor mij is Tom een leraar die perfect aansluit op al mijn wensen. This review is for my lessons with Tom in Hattem: I have had lessons with Tom for a number of years and I continue to develop with him. Recently we only did South American music for six months in Piazzolla, Pujol, Villa-Lobos and Cardoso. Occasionally a coaching for the violin-guitar duo that I form with my wife.
