Never, ever trust this company! Thieves, nothing more. They robbed me on theyir fees which they should give me back after I devote a car. When I tried to write complain on their site - they allow You to input 1800 characters, but after confirmation Your message is cut to 260 characters! So they even won't read Your complain! This company is a joke!

Only giving one star because 0 is not an option. I will personally update this review when I am done my trip in Europe with extreme detail but AVOID this succubus of a car rental company at all costs. Manager is a sketchy son of a gun who rented us the wrong car that ended up breaking down and he's trying to suck as much money from it as possible when it is out of our responsibility. He also refuses to let go of the hold on our visa until he deems it necessary to release on his terms. Again, I will update this further later on but save yourself the headache and go to hertz or literally anyone else. Update: We ordered a specific automatic car through a broker. Apparently it wasn't available with GoldCar when we got there and were aggressively pushed a manual car in it's replacement. We weren't reimbursed for the difference. This manual car had a recall on it (we later found this out) because the car broke down in the middle of the autobahn. We're being charged $18,000 CAN for this. It's a big situation that is STILL being dealt with 3 months later.

Goldcar rental are operating a finely tuned scam that will guarantee you pay more for something, anything, one way or another. Once they have your credit card on hold... They will abuse it, lie about damage to the car, or spring a fuel fee on you and then not respond to emails. I have it from a good source that they are out to get you after a seemingly low initial car hire price. DO NOT be fooled and DO NOT book with them under any circumstances!

I have purchased a used Outlander PHEV based on pure disinformation provided to me by the salesperson, my wife is vegan and said she doesn't want the car as it has leather seats, so the salesperson told her it's synthetic (after getting the car we realized he "didn't know" it's real leather) I was told that I will get a 6 months warranty with the car, but after having constant radio issues I was told that the car is not under warranty, and was referred to my contract which does not say anything about a warranty. In addition, when I came to install winter tires, Goldcar have forgotten to tell me that they will also replace the wheels from 18" alloy rims to 16" rims. Last week my car was in the workshop for 3 days out of 7 days, and I was promised that the sales manager will call me to sort everything out, surprisingly enough, no one ever called me, but I have sorted out things by myself as I have sold the car only 3 months after buying it, to stop the loss at 2000 Euro's instead of losing additional time and money, will now try to get my loss back through the court instead, really not what I planned when I bought this car. If it's important to you to get a good trustworthy service which gives a good value for your money, look elsewhere.

An excellent car dealership. With a ton of choice for everyone with every need and also a lovely staff. Bought my first car in the Netherlands here and I am grateful for their detailed explanation of everything.

Horrible. Worse car rental company on the planet. In case of an emergency you can only call them. And that takes at least 2 hours before you have agent on the phone who cannot help you out.

Please do not book a car at Goldcar. Once you return the car perfect and with full tank you expect they will not withdraw any money from your credit card, but they will keep the money and you will NEVER see that money back. Called 4 times, send an email and reported my situation, nobody was able to help me. Its now been 3 months, and I am seriously feeling robbed.
