β β β β β This is a business hotel in the purest sense. A clean place to sleep with no fuzz. Bed was not really comfortable but everything else was just ok. Location is great if you need to stay in the centre of Breda.

β β β β β Location of the hotel is perfect in the city center.
The hotel does not have its own parking. External (covered) parking is available (10 euros per 24 hours). It is a pity that the hotel does not provide this service to guestse - for my opinion it lowers its prestige.
The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms stunning and well decorated.
Don't know why but in most hotels in the Netherlands the heating does not work!
The air conditioner took out cold air even though I was aiming for 28 degrees.
The heating system worked but hardly felt (the hotel must understand that there are guests from warm countries and therefore want significant heating)
The check-in process was very quick but on the other hand too fast, important information was not communicated to us and we had to call to the receptions in order to understand that the code of the internet are located on the envelope of the room card, or when we need to check out the room and etc.

β β β β β Wonderful, spacious rooms with beautiful view to hotel surroundings. To be fair we always been on 4th floor or higher, but if you are on the lower levers, fear not. You will be more close to the really good restaurant downstairs where you can enjoy a nice dinner or a diverse breakfast!
The hotel is central, everything is walking distance and the staff is always there to give you useful tips.

β β β β β We had a brilliant two night stay. From the hotel it was easy to explore Breda, and it was very pleasant to come back to the Hotel in the evenings for a drink at the bar. The staff who greeted us each day at reception and in the breakfast area were always happy and friendly, and would often engage us in conversation. The staff are really the stand-out part of the Golden Tulip!
The only thing that could be improved was the vegan options for breakfast. My friend had something made for them by the chef on both mornings, which was totally 50/50; the first morning it was lovely, the second it was underwhelming and took a long time to arrive.
Aside from this minor detail, we could not fault the Golden Tulip and the lovely staff we met.

β β β β β The hotel (all things considered) I would rate as 3 star overall. The staff were generally helpful.
One special mention to Barbra who was extremely helpful, efficient and professional.
The room was very basic (it had a motel feel about it). The breakfast was adequate. I only stayed for one night and as such did not have the opportunity to experience all this hotel had to offer (perhaps).

β β β β β A hotel close to the centre of Breda. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms are spacouis, as is the bathroom. There were some stains on stone the floor, but it was cleaned. Tip: if you take a room on the top floor close to the elevator, you can have some noice from the elevator.
