Actually just found the place randomly on google maps but now I see it has only 4.8 rating so I have no idea how it doesnt have a minimum 5 star rating as in this time you spend there you are looked after and they dont only change your hair they change your personality. Would recommend to anyone alive

I am so glad that I have found Margreet @ Gould! She listens carefully to what I want, express her professional opinion and also she delivers it with great precision! Very gentle and yet I could feel that she knew exactly what she was trying to do. And I really LOVE the outcome! Exactly as how I’ve wanted it! Would definitely recommend it! I have been coming here ever since I moved to The Hague a few years ago. Very professional people that really care about their customers. They take a lot of time to understand what I want and give advice on how to colour and/or cut my hair, always making sure I'm happy when I leave. Have had my hair cut/styled by Juan and coloured/cut/styled by Laura. Definitely recommend both of them!

I visited Gould just last weekend and had my hair cut by Roos. I'm very happy with the result, she is very nice and welcoming. The whole atmosphere of the place is also great. Would recommend it to everyone! I'm looking forward to my next visit :)

One week ago I had a 60euro haircut with Margreet. I had to book another appointment with my old stylist in Amsterdam because of the unblended, choppy haircut I got. The nice chat and futuristic salon do not make up for the unsatisfying results. Hi Margreet, I just saw your response and decided it is worth adding the pictures. I can prove (with the electronic dates of the pictures) the timing was a day after our appointment. You can see your beautiful ""BLENDED"" haircut that needed urgent retouching by another stylist, hence the need to have proof of the tragedy. I would gladly discuss things further. Gould is the worst hairdresser salon ever. All you can get is a terrible haircut, black hair color instead of highlights and RUDE, very RUDE service. I came to make a haircut and highlights on my long, naturally blond hair. And young and inexperienced girl Roos made highlights. When they washed my hair, I saw black color on it. Completely BLACK!!!! But Roos and another young girl assured me that it’s not black, it’s my natural hair color. I was very upset, but I saw high rating of a salon and I thought that they know what they do. I was wrong. Then Roos began to do a haircut. I wanted layers. She just cut off length without any layers, and hair near face she almost didn’t touch and she asked me to pay. I asked her to finish my haircut and to fix my black color before. Roos tried her best to make hair near my face look symmetrical, but she failed. The haircut was awful!!! One side was shorter and heavier, other part was longer and thinner. About the color they assured me that black will wash away in few days. But they used permanent color, of course it will not wash away. Almost 2 weeks passed already, my hair is still black, it looks GREY!!! Of course I was very upset. I asked someone more experienced to cut my hair, but they refused. At last, after 20 minutes conversation how exactly they want to cut my hair, I understood that they want to make short and heavy part of my haircut even shorter!!! And another young girl who spoke to me was quit rude. I literally was afraid people with scissors in hands! I wanted them to make my haircut just symmetrical, not more! I didn’t expected more already. And they became so rude!!! At last older women (the owner) came and she was extremely rude, I asked her to look at my hair and say her opinion. She refused and told that she trust her employers and she will not even look on it!!! That I’m sitting in a salon already few hours and they did already so much for me and everybody is happy except me!!! Nobody didn’t say even SORRY, it was a mistake for black hair instead of highlights!!!

This week I had my monthly pampering! My visit to GOULD for a touch up by Margreet; a talented and skilled hair stylist who made her career and passion come together. The luxurious salon with its stylish warm decor and Margreets attention to detail and above all an abundance of personal attention. Life is more beautiful when you meet the right hairstylist! Thank you so much team GOULD for giving me many years many happy GOULD-moments.
