★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zeer mooi natuur gebied. Bied uren wandel plezier. Het is er vaak vrij rustig in tegenstelling tot de duinen aan de noord kant van Tilburg. Je hebt een openbaar uitkijkpost aan de zuidkant van het gebied dat uitzicht geeft over een groot deel van de weide met leuke informatie over alle vogels en andere dieren en insecten die in het gebied leven. Daarnaast is er ook een verhoogd loop pad met een paar kleine bruggentjes over de sloten in het gebied. Deze vinden de kinderen ook erg leuk. Ook is een deel van het gebied toegankelijk gemaakt voor minder valide. Er is een losloop gebied voor mensen met een hond. En natuurlijk zijn er de tal van grafheuvels te vinden in het gebied dat je herinnerd aan het feit dat er zeker al ruim 3720 jaar lang mensen leven in dit deel van de wereld. Zeker een aanrader als je even uit de drukte van de stad wil ontsnappen en wilt genieten van een mooi stuk natuur en cultuur.
Very nice nature area. Offer hours of walking pleasure. It is often quite quiet, in contrast to the dunes on the north side of Tilburg. You have a public lookout on the south side of the area that overlooks much of the pasture with nice information about all the birds and other animals and insects that live in the area. In addition, there is also a raised walkway with a few small bridges over the ditches in the area. The kids really like these too. Part of the area has also been made accessible for the disabled. There is an off-leash area for people with a dog. And of course there are the numerous burial mounds in the area that remind you that people have been living in this part of the world for at least 3,720 years. Definitely recommended if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a beautiful piece of nature and culture.
