Adrianus Maria Horvers was dienstplichtig soldaat bij de 3e Compagnie, 1e Bataljon van het 6e Regiment Infanterie. Hij sneuvelde op 10 of 11 mei 1940 in de Peel-linie nabij Mill en werd aanvankelijk als 'onbekende soldaat' begraven bij het kasteel Tongelaar te Mill.
Als een onbekende soldaat gevonden in de kazemat tegenover Kanadabosch op de Bosschen. Pas op 26 juni 1940 werd de identiteit vastgesteld en 27 juni 1940 werd Horvers herbegraven op de RK begraafplaats aan de Goirkestraat,Tilburg.

Adrianus Maria Horvers was a conscript soldier with the 3rd Company, 1st Battalion of the 6th Infantry Regiment. He was killed in the Peel line near Mill on 10 or 11 May 1940 and was initially buried as an 'unknown soldier' near the Tongelaar castle in Mill.
Found as an unknown soldier in the casemate opposite Kanadabosch in the Bosschen. The identity was not established until 26 June 1940 and Horvers was reburied on 27 June 1940 at the RC cemetery at Goirkestraat, Tilburg.
