About Grand-Bistro Hét Postkantoor
Rishi is al een bekend gezicht in Heerenveen en omstreken door zijn rol als sommelier bij ’t Gerecht. Maar nu ontvangt hij u als sommelier en gastheer in Hét Postkantoor. Met zijn energieke en enthousiaste verhalen over wijn en spijs, zorgt hij samen met zijn team voor een onvergetelijke culinaire beleving. In maart 2019 heeft Rishi met lof het certificaat voor Professioneel Gastronoom-Sommelier in ontvangst mogen nemen. Hij behoort hiermee tot een select gezelschap in Nederland die deze titel mag dragen. Zijn oneindige drive om gasten in de watten te leggen zorgt ervoor dat elke gast passend en op buitengewoon niveau bediend kan worden en voorzien wordt van een bijzondere ervaring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place to have dinner or a beer at the front-door terrace. They offer a fixed menu (very varied) of small tapas-like dishes. The place has a very nice atmosphere and the staff is friendly and efficient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cozy restaurant with lovely small dishes in tapas style. Affordable with attention to detail. They have two options: all you can eat, or a "socializer" à la care option of three or five dishes for a fixed price.
I tested the oyster, which was fresh and delicate. Pumpkin risotto was served with a tremendous amount of olive oil; upon sending it back I received a replacement with apologies that was delicious. Fish curry is nice and spicy with lemon grass; recommended.
All in all, great. I liked how friendly the waiter was, with such a lovely smile! I've visited twice and intend to keep Het Postkantoor as a fixed staple in Heerenveen.
The ambiance is also great. I recommend the comfortable booth at the door to enjoy the busy scurry and view of the antique revolving door.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious steak tartare, carpaccio, and beef bourguignon, but the venison (hert) was superb. Best venison I've eaten since leaving New Zealand 4 years ago!
Finished with a great tiramisu. Nice wine pairings and the staff are very friendly and passionate about the food they serve

The food was really great, we ordered a main dish as a starter, which was no problem at all.
We were surprised with the quality of the food and had a lovely evening.
We will definitely go again.
