★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wij waren hier om het begin van de vakantie in te zetten. Het personeel is oké maar niet echt spraakzaam of bijzonder vriendelijk. Wij hadden de lunchplank. Zag er aantrekkelijk uit, variatie aan producten, vers. Maar sommige dingen waren niet genoeg voor 3 personen. De drank is redelijk prijzig, een glas bier €3,50. Wij denken niet dat we hier nog een keer voor zouden kiezen.
 We were here to kick off the holiday. The staff are ok but not really chatty or particularly friendly. We had the lunch board. Looked attractive, variety of products, fresh. But some things were not enough for 3 people. The drink is quite pricey, a glass of beer €3.50. We don't think we would choose this again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zou ik hier terugkomen? Zeker wel. Maar niet als vaste klant. Waarom niet?
Pluspunten: vriendelijk personeel, mooie inrichting, redelijke prijzen, goed eten, mooi uitzicht over de haven en in de warmere maanden een mooi terras.
Minpunten : personeel mist door de inrichting wat overzicht en het is af en toe aan de gast om aandacht te zoeken. De gerechten zijn - let op, dit is een persoonlijke mening - iets 'over the top'.
Hiermee bedoel ik, dat er veel verschillende ingrediënten op één bord verschijnen, die men probeert als een geheel aan te bieden. Hierdoor is de presentatie wat rommelig en de smaken soms verwarrend. De ingrediënten zijn wel goed gekozen waardoor er geen tegenstrijdige smaken op hetzelfde bord liggen, maar persoonlijk vind ik eenvoudigere gerechten vaak beter.
Would I come back here? Certainly. But not as a regular customer. Why not?
Pros: friendly staff, nice decor, reasonable prices, good food, nice view over the harbor and a nice terrace in the warmer months.
Negatives: staff lacks some overview due to the layout and it is occasionally up to the guest to seek attention. The dishes are - mind you, this is a personal opinion - slightly 'over the top'.
By this I mean that many different ingredients appear on one plate, which one tries to present as a whole. This makes the presentation a bit messy and the flavors sometimes confusing. The ingredients are well chosen so that there are no conflicting flavors on the same plate, but personally I often find simpler dishes better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijk gedineerd bij Brasserie Rubenshof. Sharing gerechten zijn zeker een aanrader. Meer dan genoeg personeel, er wordt vaak genoeg gevraagd of het naar wens is en of je iets wilt drinken. Leuke omgeving.
Delicious dinner at Brasserie Rubenshof. Sharing dishes are definitely recommended. More than enough staff, often enough asked if it is to your liking and if you want something to drink. Nice environment.
