★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This "grand café" is a bit unlike the regular grand cafés I am used to; there are little to no local dished or delicacies, but a variety of pizza's, shoarmas and sates. The deserts, beers, regular tosties and such are on the menu though and the service is quite friendly.
The spot ain't cheap but the meal sizes are decent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and very fast service. Even when the restaurant is stuffed with customers they manage to serve quick. Affordable prices. Friendly and professional staff. Dog friendly. Sitting outside is provided with umbrellas against rain and heaters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice, cosy interior and a large heated terrace, where you can smoke. Great choice of beers, cocktails an stiff drinks, all not too expensive. We had gin and tonics and a portion of 'bitterballs' a typical Dutch deep fried crusted meatball. I suspect they're homemade here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not so nice experience. Chairs were dirty, on the table around 20 pages menu, waitresses in a rush without experience but doesn't matter. I was expecting at least tasty donner or meat . The meat was cold and the quality very cheap. I find the price high for this bad quality.
