★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was good but the waiting time between courses was really too long, unacceptable I must say. Fair to say that 25 Dec is probably one of the most busy days of the year but you should expect a restaurant anticipates to that especially when everyone was there under reservation and having a Xmas menu. The lounge personnel was very kind and even invited us to a coffee for free... they did their best but the food was simply not coming out of the kitchen, a pity that the moment of especial dinner was a bit ruined.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been to Bij5 multiple times in the past, and decided to support this local business after the Corona lockdown. We had high expectations, which were definitely met starting with the appetiser. We had 4 different appetisers and none disappointed.
The main course was definitely not a letdown either. They weren't as outstanding as the appetisers and some of the dishes felt a bit sloppily thrown together, but the taste was still great.
The price of some of the dishes was quite high, especially looking at what you got for it.
Overall the atmosphere was very relaxed. We definitely didn't feel crammed and the service was great. We had a very enjoyable evening.
