GreenCityTrip - Ceresstraat 13

We had a great time in Prague such a beautiful city, and we were lucky very nice sunny weather, good hotel Atlantic and close to everything. But the train is really dated. we were not fully prepared and left so from half past eight in the evening to eight in the morning nothing to get and then really nothing. No drink and no food at all. Then in the morning the catering wagon opens for instant coffee for €3.00 water, tea and a stroopwafel. Sorry that's out of date. Why not take a plane ride through the paths, chips cup à soup, candy cracker beer, small bottles of wine, make it up. ke it costs a staff member but you can still rake in money with that. Then the beds and plumbing must also be replaced, this is no longer possible. And it really didn't surprise us that there was no control when boarding?

2x with a green city trip to Venice, each time booked a premium coupe to have more space and power. Venice is a beautiful city! Unfortunately on the outward journey only at 4 pm in Venice, after a train journey of 22 hours ... so the first day was almost over, second day in Venice was great, third day at the end of the afternoon back to the train for a long journey. The first time there was no food or drink available on the train. Fortunately, we were prepared for that, but our fellow travelers were not. The train was sticky, smelled of cigarettes, toilets were not cleaned in between, so after several hours water and toilet paper on the floor everywhere. The waste from the previous travelers was still in our compartment, so we cleaned up first. We also had no power, it was reset a few times by the stewards, but always went out. It was sweltering hot in our coupe, the heating could not be turned off. The sheets were clean but the blankets didn't get washed and were stained and had hair from previous travellers. The stewards on board go out of their way and are very friendly. Communication with greencitytrip is difficult, cannot be reached by phone and a long wait via chat. Due to circumstances last weekend traveled back with greencitytrip, 3x, this time to Prague, only train journey via greencitytrip and hotel itself arranged on site. Prague was surprisingly beautiful, our hotel, Nyx, was perfectly within walking distance of the metro and sights. The train journey was again a long one, left at 6 pm in Breda and at 10 am in Prague. This is a 16-hour drive, which is very long. The train is not comfortable enough to travel that long, in between the train often stopped. Again we had fully booked a premium coupe for us, so that we were not with strangers. In retrospect that was a good thing because on the return trip I became ill, as it turned out corona. Compliments to the stewards, they make the most of the trip and are very friendly.
