A	Astrid Yntema on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dat ging makkelijk! Via de mobiel inloggen, instructies opvolgen en varen maar. Heerlijk door de Alkmaarse grachten gevaren mbv de handige routes van Greenjoy. Afmeren, uitloggen en klaar. Aanrader! That was easy! Log in via mobile, follow instructions and sail. Wonderful sailing through the Alkmaar canals using the handy routes of Greenjoy. Mooring, logging out and done. Recommended!
D	Dimitri Singels on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zeer degelijke en nette (stalen) boot met een ontzettende eenvoudige bediening. De motor is lekker stil en de boot ook erg ruim voor max 8 pers. Wat minder fijn is, is dat de motor (veel) te weinig vermogen heeft. Uiteraard betreft het geen krachtige bezinemotor maar een electromotor. Naar mijn optiek is deze motor te licht voor het aansturen van de boot. Omdat de boot vrij zwaar is reageert het erg traag op het sturen. Zodoende moet je wat eerder anticiperen op wendingen en dat vaart niet fijn. Hoewel er zitplaatsen genoeg zijn zit het niet echt confortabel zonder kussens. Deze moet je dan ook zelf meenemen. Aangezien wij altijd een motorboot elders huren leek dit ons leuk om eens te proberen. Omdat het vermogen ons zo tegenviel gaan wij toch de volgende keren weer een motorboot huren. Very solid and neat (steel) boat with an incredibly simple operation. The engine is nice and quiet and the boat is also very spacious for up to 8 people. What is less nice is that the engine has (much) too little power. Of course it is not a powerful petrol engine, but an electric motor. In my opinion this motor is too light for steering the boat. Because the boat is quite heavy, it reacts very slowly to steering. As a result, you have to anticipate turns a bit earlier and that does not go well. Although there are enough seats, it is not really comfortable without cushions. You must therefore bring this yourself. Since we always rent a motorboat elsewhere, we thought it would be fun to try. Because the power was so disappointing to us, we will rent a motorboat again next time.

Het liep perfect qua inloggen en uitloggen alleen hebben 4 "kapiteins" onderhouden dat het sturen heel lastig is. Boot reageert laat en is enorm wennen. Verder GROEN gevaren en dat vinden we enorm belangrijk. Fantastic beautiful boat with lots of space! Especially in view of the Corona period, very useful. It ran perfectly in terms of login and logout, only 4 "captains" have maintained that steering is very difficult. Boot reacts late and takes a lot of getting used to. Furthermore, GREEN dangers and we find that extremely important.
S	Sander Griffioen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hebben enorm genoten van de vaartocht in en rond Alkmaar. De sloep is robuust, ligt stevig in het water, vaart prima en is ruim. Handig tafeltje ook. Het volledig online reserveren en betalen gaat prima, de instructies zijn heel duidelijk en de vaarroutes ook. En niet duur! Dit gaan we vaker doen. Tip: neem (tuin)kussens mee en een koelbox met hapjes en drankjes... We really enjoyed the boat trip in and around Alkmaar. The sloop is robust, lies firmly in the water, sails well and is spacious. Handy table too. Booking and paying completely online works fine, the instructions are very clear and so are the sailing routes. And not expensive! We will do this more often. Tip: bring (garden) cushions and a cool box with snacks and drinks...

Please be aware that nobody will be there to give you the boat, explain how it works and check that your boat is fine and clean. We were supposed to receive a link to activate the boat, but they forgot the link! After some unanswered calls and 10 wasted minutes they finally took the call and sent the link. The boat assigned to us was dirty a with empty beer bottles. But the worst part was the control of the boat! It did barely respond to the steering wheel, and we were bouncing from one wall to the other for the full trip, suffering to avoid crashing with other boats. It was a relief to leave the boat! We have rented boats in Alkmaar, Haarlem, Amsterdam and Giethoorn with other companies and never had this kind of problems. We use to rent by Alkmaarse boot verhuur in Alkmaar and we have had never an issue with them. We used greenjoy because there were no boats available in any other company that day, and we also liked the idea of an electric, more environmental-friendly boat. On the other hand, you need to pay in advance and give a deposit, and there is no possibility to cancel your booking and get the money back, you just can change the date. For all the troubles we just got a 10 eur credit for our next booking, that will never happen. 100% unsatisfied.

Unfortunately because it was only two of us it was hard for us to control the boat because there was not enough weight dispersion and so we had to return it after half an hour. However the support staff was incredible! We had a laugh with them and they even refunded us for the whole 1 and a half hours that we weren’t able to use the boat for!!! Would recommend to everybody but with a larger group of people ?? top quality service!! And eco friendly! Amazing!
