β β β β β I would have given one star but some of the severs were lovely. These folks just want to make money whilst putting out mediocre food. When we arrived it wasnβt busy (whilst next door was buzzing) so that could have been the first tell tell sign. We asked for a baby chair .. it came and it was dirty we asked for it to be cleaned again which they agreed to without a fuss but in the end we had to clean it again ourselves... they sprayed it and the blue detergent was dripping off which wasnβt nice for our baby to sit on. I asked for a starter with no yoghurt but thatβs exactly what I got. Our main meal came ... my partner ordered a big meat ball with rice but got it with chips they brought out the rice pretty much at the end of our meal... anyway my partners meatball was undercooked so we mentioned it to the sever who mentioned it to the boss/owner. The server apologized again. When we went to pay they said it yes the meat is very big which is why it happened but charged us the same price..: crazy to think we could have gotten food poisoning he he not spotted the uncooked meat in time and they were so nonchalant about it. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!

β β β β β Nice little Greek restaurant with a lot of tables outside by the street when the weather is nice. Be warned that the seating is often full at peak times in good weather - though they are currently taking some reservations. May take a while to get seated and served.
The starters were very good. Great tzatziki and pittas. The stuffed pepper starter is absolutely delicious, would highly recommend. Mains are well presented with a bright side salad. The only downside to the food I found was the chips - they were quite disappointing. The souvlakis was fairly large and tasty with a good marinade, although the chicken was a bit dry.
Drinks options are pretty standard. No interesting beer choices unfortunately.
Overall a nice place. It's not my favourite restaurant in Amsterdam, but certainly not a bad one. If you're nearby and want a seat in the sun and some Greek food then I'd recommend it!

β β β β β Entertaining to say the least! Next door was full so we decided to have a drink and some Tzaziki at this place. Waited for ages for the starter and the drinks but were enjoying the show that was presented to us: terribly slow service at all tables, people utterly disappointed by the food, guests arguing with the staff, people waiting for their bills for ages, extremely mediocre drinks and pretty unclean crockery.
Would not eat here but if you are bored and have a lot of time, sit at the waterfront, get a beer (NOT a cocktail)and enjoyβ¦

β β β β β Decent flavor, but not great value.
Like many reviews say, service is slow at this place. There just wasn't enough staff to handle the people sitting outside. We were taken care of well enough, though, since we were the only group sat inside. The lone waitress was working quite hard, but the waiter, while very friendly, was not keeping up with demand.
The food tasted good enough, but was not great. The portions were also small considering the price and relative lack of complexity in the dishes. Additionally, it appears as if the plates were plated with salad long ahead of time, as the greens and tomato seemed to show withering.
I probably would have rated it as a 2.5 star, if that were possible, but since it is not, it earns 2.

β β β β β I don't write many reviews but this was hands down the worst restaurant experience I've ever had.
I went to this place twice. The first was last year, and under covid restrictions there were only a few people in the restaurant: the food was not bad, although nothing to write home about, and the service was alright too.
I went again recently and waited 45 min for a waiter to come by. When we could finally place our order, I asked about allergens (whether there were nuts). The waiter barely spoke any English or Dutch and I couldn't communicate with him, no matter how I phrased things he didn't understand. A bit awkward but okay, I assumed he must just be new. After a bit he went to get his colleague and we had the same problem again. They then got the manager who told me (with a big fake smile) that "in 30 years working in restaurants I've never heard of a food allergy". Surprising given I was there the previous year with the same allergies! Anyway by this point we decided it wasn't worth the trouble and tried to leave. They made us pay for the house wine they'd finally brought out after an hour (in glasses dripping with water) even though we hadn't touched it. Really the least professional service I've ever experienced, zero class.

β β β β β Be ready to taste delicious food like if you were in Greece!!!
It's a family business, that serves original Greek food. Everything is absolutely delicious!!! The place can get busy on the weekends, which makes the service a little slow, the kitchen seems to be small and probably that is the reason. However the service is great and everyone is super friendly, so the wait is definitely worth it.
