★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not Sure if I have been at a more ridiculous airport. even on island airports in Thailand the process of check in and security is smoother. not being able to check an ID card?! I mean which century are we living in? put your handluggage in a thing to measure it before the flight? weight your handluggage before the flight? again...which century and how is it possible that no other airport on earth does this? wow what an amazing negative experience. flew hundred of times already but this is in the top 3 worst airports. never again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small airport, you don't have to wait long for your hold luggage, it literally rolls off the belt after your walk from the plane to the terminal. Restaurant is pricey, check in goes nice an smooth. There is not much to do after the security apart from one very small shop and toilet facilities. WiFi is available but very small. 2 gates in total. From the plane out of the building can take less than 10 minutes due to efficient security (2 desks) going out of the airport. In all, the airport is a bit dated and needs some modernisation but this airport is a necessity for commuters from (and to) the north of the Netherlands .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Same cabin case as the way out, not allowed. 55€ to put it in the hold. Only 15 people on board. They changed the does your bag fit, before my eyes for a smaller one. Very rude lady at the check-in. Not impressed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small airport close to Groningen. Small shops, not much waiting time and good parking places.
The destinations are limited, unfortunately.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to reach, quick security check, short distances from car park to planes. Unfortunately, Flybe recently started allowing only very tiny cabin bags, resulting in a hefty extra cost to check in bags that they used to accept just fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Groningen airport is a really convenient regional airport in the North of the Netherlands. Cheap parking available which can be booked online. Not too many choices of destinations regrettably, but a strong point surely is the three times daily Flybe flight to London Southend airport, from which it is just a fairly quick trainride into the City.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small & very convenient Airport. Great parking space. Also nice restaurant with terrace watching the runway. Would be great if there were more flights. We would it a lot in favour of Weeze, Eindhoven & Schiphol
