β β β β β This company fails really hard, most of the time they are unreachable on the phone, they wont react to their mails. We are forced to live with broken things because they really do not react / care. They will make fake promises once you do reach them. If they ask for gas/water level they will likely ask it more then once because they want you to mail it and they do not read their inbox. (They called me about it and i got really angry because this happend so many times before and told him to check the mail and when he did, he found the mails, they really don't read that inbox) this is sad really really sad, we once almost got turned off the water because of their mistakes. I would not recommend its quite inhumane and if you really need them to do something its always with a fight :c

β β β β β They are simply a joke. There is zero organisation/communication within the company, they literally lie to your face just because they do not want to look bad(I have messages from them constantly contradicting themselves). They booked me twice a viewing for different appartments which were already rented out. For another viewing they cancelled it 2 minutes before the actual appointment even though I was there on time, suddenly the said they are there either way but in the end I had to wait for 15 minutes.
I don't know how they are if you actually rent with them but looking at the other reviews, you can get the idea.

β β β β β Extremely happy with Gruno. They found me a great room quickly and set me up in a matter of days. Within two days of initial call the contract was signed. Could not have been more professional, friendly, and efficient. Compared to my previous house search, I was blown away.
Special thanks to Karim for guiding me through the process, acting as a go-between with my previous landlord to make sure I got my deposit back quickly, and even checking in after I'd moved. Also to Bram for the excellent room tours. Een top bedrijf!

β β β β β This company has gone a long way since I first encountered them. Their reputation may not be the best but they are doing their best to fix it.
I gave Gruno Vastgoed a call around noon out of curiosity and got a call back that there is an apartment available. Had a viewing half an hour later and by the end of the day, I had the apartment.
Keep it up!

β β β β β Mark is the only good thing about Gruno. He seemed to atleast care about the tenants.
The company as a whole was not great. I had contacted them about my window being broken from the previous tenant, they came to look at it and said they cant fix it because its too difficult for them but they would send someone to come look at it and try. No one came and they didn't follow up. This was not a small issue, its a whole window. They also gave me a studio without a fitted light in the ceiling which I found odd because I paid for electricity and the other rooms in the house came with a light but apparently βits the tenants responsibilityβ. If that was the case, I would understand, but the other tenants told me that they had moved in with a light installation already in their studios. Overall, their communication wasnβt great and it seems like their more in a rush than anything else, which in Groningen makes sense because agencies and landlords have so many students looking for places that they dont have to care too much about the tenants.
I will say that they were quick to help me find a place which is good.

β β β β β I am living in my apartment since July this year and am a really happy tenant with Gruno Vastgoed B.V.. From the viewing of the apartment on, everyone I met from the company (especially Kariem and Johannes) is very friendly and professional. All questions I had about the apartment during the viewing were answered. The questions that came up after moving in were addressed within the same day. When I needed support with the heating systems, they sent someone over the next day fixing it.

β β β β β Very poor customer treatment and care. Unresponsive to emails. Promises they will fix something and never show up. Told us that they will fix a broken window within a month and it took them 3 or so. Be careful as they promise a lot of things and seem helpful but the help never shows up. There were a lot of broken things in the house before us, which they promised to fix and never did. Had to fix them out of our own pockets. The list of dissapointments is very long so I am not going to talk about every each one, but the single biggest one is that they breached a contract by being a month late with giving us back the deposit, because they said that they are still waiting for an invoice from some cleaning company, which is their problem and not ours. Moreover, the house was in a disgusting state before we came there, with food rotting in the cupboards, hundreds of spiders, fungus on walls. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

β β β β β Let me start of by nothing that Gruno Vastgoed do offer some very good apartments and rooms across Groningen. I personally lived in one of their apartments for 5 years.
This is rather unfortunate, because although I loved my apartment, the people who work at the agency and the level of service is shockingly poor. First of all, make sure to read any contract they give you at least twice to make sure there aren't any "hidden" rules or costs.
Secondly, don't expect help anytime soon if there's anything wrong with your room/apartment. They take weeks to reply and months to send someone to repair something (if they even reply). The only time you can expect a call or email from them is if you owe money. Furthermore, the only time you can expect them to be quick is when they're offering you different available places (which is the only good thing).
Last but not least, expect extra bills and costs to arise sometimes. Also when leaving make sure to get your deposit back directly from them, as they might try to change the rules and ask for more money back months later.
All in all, their employees don't care about their job even in the slightest. As long as they're getting paid they couldn't care less about your living situation.
