★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In november 2016 brandde de toren van deze kerk af. Twee jaar lang heeft deze karakteristieke kerk het zonder spits moeten doen. Tot mijn vreugde bleek de toren sinds kort gerestaureerd.
In November 2016, the tower of this church burned down. For two years this characteristic church has had to do without a striker. To my delight, the tower was recently restored.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On November 8, 2016, part of the spire collapsed during a severe fire. The fire was fought by firefighters from Weesp and the surrounding area. Exactly two years later, on November 8, 2018, the rebuilt spire was placed back on the tower.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A treat to be out in the sun by this gorgeous rebuilt church patio/garden, that’s now wispe brewery that serve food and drinks. Busy day however service was very courteous and efficient. Good beer and food.
