★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Confusing "emergency dentist" hotline - Shuttled me back and forth with my regular dentist, and doesn't seem to understand what medical information may be necessary.
My regular dentist gave me this emergency number in case of after-hours issues, which I did. The hotline said I should call my regular dentist, so I told them I was given this number for emergencies. Then they said they only deal with accidents after 9pm, and that for "emergency appointments that are not accidents", I can call between 4pm and 9pm.
Eventually I called my regular dentist the next day and they made a Saturday appointment.
I also tried to explain to the hotline that I have wisdom teeth and have pain in that area, which may be causing issues, and they kept on asking "so you don't want an appointment with us???".
Not sure what their role is in this emergency appointment system.
