[21:35, 1/15/2019] Rob Verhulst: Unfortunately a very bad experience with this company. The owner of this company can sell himself and the fireplaces very well, but is not professional in attitude and installation. The fireplace is a free-standing wall in the middle of our living room, an eye-catcher. After 2 attempts, the fireplace was still not satisfactory. Now we have to incur extra costs to make the fireplace to our liking. It started with measuring the space for the position of the fireplace. Because we have built an extension, there is a column in the middle of the room to support the old rear facade. The wall of the fireplace surrounds this to work this pole out of sight. The order to Haard express was; that the walls of the fireplace should be as short as possible along the column in order to save space and that the wall in which the fireplace is located should be made as narrow as possible. At first we saw no problems after delivery of the fireplace, everything seemed fine. Later that day my contractor calls me to say that the fireplace is tilted. I immediately contacted the Haard express. There I am told that the extension is skewed and the assignment was for the column to be the basis for the position of the wall with the hearth. This is completely unfounded. I am told, without him bothering to come and look at the situation, that everything can only be adjusted after payment of material and labor in 2 months. Very customer unfriendly to say the least. Of course we do not agree with this. Together with the contractor, I measured the position of the extension and the fireplace on all sides. The entire extension turned out to be only 14 millimeters and 8 cm by 2 meters in the fireplace. This was also clearly visible on the beams in the roof (there was no ceiling in it yet, see photo). He decides to come and have a look anyway, but the contractor must also be present, so that he can demonstrate that his fireplace is straight and the rest of the house is crooked. The contractor takes the trouble to come. After the measurement results, the owner could not help but agree that the extension is straight and the fireplace is crooked. They come to fix it. We must indicate the position of the fireplace ourselves. But unfortunately it doesn't end here. After the 'recovery' I am going to take a look. The fireplace is perfectly aligned with the line we signed off for Haard Express, but the entire wall has suddenly been made 10 cm wider without consultation !? I ask for an explanation. A very blunt reaction that the steel column is skewed and it is what it is. This is untrue. There is 10 cm of empty space everywhere between the column and the fireplace. Later he cheekily texts that he misses a thank you for the work they have done. We were fed up with Haard Express at this point and asked our carpenter to review the situation. He tells us that Haard Express's arguments are unfounded. We demolished the entire wall ourselves, made everything 10 centimeters narrower (neatly against the steel column) and 3 hours later everything is as we wish! It is really bizarre what we have experienced about this fireplace. It is finally to our liking, but not thanks to Haard Express. Rob

We wanted a wood-burning stove, so we called Haard-Express, were able to come by immediately and were kindly answered. Lots of choice and good explanation. Within a week, Freek came to our home to see which stove was most suitable and immediately made an offer. Another week later, the stove was already professionally installed. Result looks beautiful and received good explanation. Our questions were also answered very quickly and well in between the entire process. In short, friendly and good service, the most important of which is a beautiful Bronpi wood stove in the house.

After a lot of online searching I came across Haard-Express.nl and after a visit to their showroom ordered a stove for my roof. The price was significantly cheaper than anything else I could find online. The stove has been professionally installed, nothing to complain about. Great people, professional, top service. Recommended!

Professionally fast and professional company! We had a beautiful wood burning fireplace installed in our new home. In the end, the costs were also very reasonable!

Recently had a renovation carried out, with the replacement of a built-in wood stove. After an appointment we were kindly received and after a home visit the choice was made. The stove has been professionally installed and after all satisfaction. This company is definitely recommended!

I bought a fireplace insert from them through BVA Auctions. Therefore, the fireplace can already be purchased a lot cheaper than the usual shop/retail price. After winning the auction object, I contacted Haard-Express and immediately agreed that the fireplace would be built in by them at an additional cost. For this I had to have my fireplace and chimney done some research by a chimney sweep to be sure that the installation could be done safely. Chimneys had to be swept anyway. The day of installation has come Freek and the fireplace is perfectly built-in. There was not enough space for me to use a flexible hose, so a special non-combustible granule mix was used. This mix in combination with some water and cement has made a perfect gas-tight seal. The seal had to dry for two weeks. The day before yesterday (carefully) fired the fireplace for the first time. Fireplace pulls perfectly and works great. Am very happy with it! Thank you!

From a hideous fireplace from the 1970s to a beautiful hanging wood fire… The appointment had to be moved no less than 3 times because the fireplace was always not delivered from Spain. And all those times we were neatly informed by Masja and Freek and Masja was able to reschedule the job, including plasterer. Finally the time had come, the existing fireplace was bricked up and a few days later the whole was neatly plastered. A few weeks of drying and this week the finishing touch .... the fireplace was hung by Freek!! I can only say that we are extremely satisfied with the communication, the professional knowledge. Super!!!
