Nice place with great staff! Good breakfast and very nice restaurant attached to the hotel. Did not like the room because it was for disabled people. Maybe they considered me a disabled person ??? Enjoyed my stay

Not good enough for the price you pay. SPA is just a tiny room that does not even look like SPA.Total disappointment. A cup in the room was dirty. According to booking information there supposed to be wine in the room, however, there was nothing. Window in the room is permanently dirty and they don't even care to clean it I guess. Room has no any heater, so no idea how to stay there in winter since even at the beginning of October it's already cold in there. We arrived at 14.53 and were told that "ófficially we can check it only at 15.00"'... Thats the first time I experience such an unprofessional attitude. For 2 people staying there is only one tiny showewr gel/shampoo. Breakfast is very limited. No any fruit except for some cut mixed fruit, no any fresh juices. The only thing we enjoyed was a nice bath in the room. The rest was much less than expected. Definitely not a "'luxe room"' as they describe it.

It was a pleasant hotel. The rooms were comfy, with a bath! Only displeasing surprise was that the door for the bathroom did not close off entirely. So you could see, hear and smell each other which kinda ruins some of the romance. But otherwise it was great stay!

Had an excellent overnight stay. Pro: Lovely designed rooms with excellent beds and bath. Good breakfast options, and quiet surroundings. Con: You can hear everything because of the lack of carpets. Anyone walking in the corridor, and anyone in the rooms around you. Thankfully the guests were really quiet, but with bigger groups this will be a nightmare, and makes you feel like you're in a cheap hostel.

Beautiful rooms, very well isolated so no noise at all from the other rooms, while the hotel was fully booked. A good breakfast was included in the price. The hotel is in a beautiful green area for walking and also near the spa "Sauna Heuvelrug". Also they designed the hotel with sustainability in mind. The reasons for not giving 5 stars this time are things that can easily be improved: - Very synthetic mattress-covers, which feel sweaty and above all are very squeaky. So when one of us turned around at night, the other one always woke up from the sound. Hotel management, please get more natural feeling and quiet covers... - When completing my full reservation online, in the last step there was no iDeal payment possible. So then I called for my reservation and had to pay 5 euro's extra "because it was extra work for them to have to enter all my data". I'm sorry, but this is about hospitality. It is extra work for guests to have to make the reservation twice. And the staff didn't take off the five euros from the bill. - They are advertising with being the "most sustainable hotel in the Netherlands". In that case, please also try to reduce waste. So at breakfast no mini portions of nutella and hagelslag, but buy zero waste / less waste in bulk (grootverpakking) and refill little pots or glasses. And no single use soaps in plastic in the bath. The refill soap in the shower was good though.

We were here during new years eve 2020. Three course dinner was served in the room. The food and service was very good. The room itself missed a few things like a fridge, the bubble bath didn't quite fit 2 adults (even though it stated so). Cleanliness of the room was ok in general, however, they missed a few spots here and there. Beds were good, not too soft. Surroundings of the hotel is the "Utrechtse heuvelrug" which is excellent for walking and cycling. All in all we had a nice stay at this hotel.

All I could say is WOW. The room I had was luxurious. The design is different from the standard hotel rooms I have been to. Even though there is no airco, the wooden awning makes up for it to keep the room cool. The rooms were very clean and the bath was spacious enough to have 2 persons in it. Definitely a place to goif you want to get away for some rest or getaway with your spouse. They also have a restaurant/bar next to the hotel.

1 star because I have been trying to get a chargeback for weeks because the hotel double charged the night. I will call again tomorrow - I find it amateurish and anything but professional that the customer has to run after his money here.
