★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique sight, which only takes a couple of minutes. To use all available space a few home-owners have built their kitchens over the canal. Picturesque, especially on a sunny day. Local shops have nice artwork if you can't get a good shot yourself. (My stay unfortunately was 100% rain. Check the website buienradar.nl for detailed weather a few hours ahead.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth a visit! Took a lovely 70 km circle ride by racebike with a friend and visited this remote city with a very interesting attraction worth seeing and learning about! To safe space,why not to enlarge externally and be practical! Dutch know how to use the limitation of space!
