★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely old Dutch Harbor with it's cozy cafe's and restaurants. I spent one night in Harlingen during my road bike tour in Friesland. The day i have arrived to Harlingen i went to check out what kind of an atmosphere is there. I must say, it was very enjoyable, even when i was all alone. The locals are very friendly and in the case you want to have an conversation with a stranger, it is possible. Just by hanging out there. I believe there is always something to do and an ever changing scenery. Of course always nice to watch sailing boats and Ferries leaving the harbor and arriving.
