★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het zou geweldig zijn om vanaf deze locatie, via de oude vaarroute, naar Oldehove te kunnen kanoën. Een paar jaar geleden kreeg ik dit idee omdat ik op een oudere kaart deze verbinding zag. Ik ben toen op de fiets de mogelijke route gaan verkennen. Daar heb ik toen maar van afgezien vanwege alle obstakels en blokkeringen die ik vanaf de weg zag. In het kader van de Toukomst.nl van Groningen lijkt het me een goed plan om die oude vaarweg, vanaf Kommerzijl te herstellen. Dat komt de miljoeneninvestering om van Groningen een kano-provincie te maken ook ten goede.
It would be great to be able to canoe from this location, via the old sailing route, to Oldehove. A few years ago I got this idea because I saw this connection on an older map. I then explored the possible route by bicycle. I did not do that then because of all the obstacles and blockages I saw from the road. In the context of the Toukomst.nl of Groningen, I think it is a good plan to restore the old waterway from Kommerzijl. This will also benefit the investment of millions to make Groningen a canoe province.
