★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was absurd, after 2 hours 20 minutes of waiting and calling them 2 times they had the courage to say the delivery person is almost at the door. I cancelled the order and now I have to write an email to get my money back. Outrageous! (Poor guy who answers the phone and have to lie all the time for his boss...) I ordered from somewhere else in the end. This is a sh*t place, avoid it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered online and it took the restaurant over 2 hours to deliver the food. I wish the service was better and the sushi sometimes is good sometimes is not good :/ Hope the restaurant can improve the waiitng time and sushi quality ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was actually quite curious about this new place in Amsterdam. As I have tasted most of the sushi places in Amsterdam. So Hayai sushi was on the list to try out!
The first thing that came in mind was that they got a lot of sushi deals on the menu,, Good sushibox prizes and opening deals (free sushiroll). I ordered around 30 euros at 2PM to try out, the taste of the sushi is good. Rice is not too sticky, just a mouthfeel and just the right amount of vinegar. The quality and price range matches well together but the tuna nigiri isnt always that fresh....
There is one thing.. it would be nice if you can get the same amount of avocado size in your sushi compatible with the cucumber.... so this would be the MINUS.
This place has just opened a few months ago in Amsterdam. They have other filials through the Netherlands (DenHaag, Delft, Rotterdam).
