★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi heempark met verschillende gebieden. Enige tekortkoming: er staat vrijwel geen informatie en uitleg langs de paden over de vegetatie, het karakter van de verschillende gebiedjes. Toen ik hier in 1983 was, stond er nog uitgebreide informatie bij.
Nice heme park with different areas. Only shortcoming: there is virtually no information and explanation along the paths about the vegetation, the character of the different areas. When I was here in 1983, there was still extensive information.

Een park met veel verschillende landschappen zoals bosages, drassige landjes, terpen, graslandjes, bosjes en diverse waterloopjes, sloten en waterpartijen. Ook een paradijs voor veel kleine vogeltjes. Maar ook voor watervogels in het naastgelegen meer. Daarnaast bloeien in het voorjaar veel wilde bloemen zoals de pinksterbloem, kievietsbloem, brede orchis, Sint Janskruid. Het gebied wordt gemalen door kleine windmolens en typerend is de ophaalbrug.
Beautiful piece of nature on the outskirts of The Hague. A park with many different landscapes such as woods, marshy lands, mounds, grasslands, bushes and various watercourses, ditches and water features. Also a paradise for many little birds. But also for water birds in the adjacent lake. In addition, many wild flowers bloom in the spring, such as the cuckoo flower, lapwing flower, broad orchid, St. John's wort. The area is ground by small windmills and is typical of the drawbridge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In dit heempark hebben ze de natuur haar eigen weg laten gaan. Waar ik wel van hou. Er staan op dit moment erg veel paddenstoelen. Het is er niet groot maar leuk om er een rondje door heen te lopen.
Misschien kunnen de bordjes van de rondwandeling weer hersteld worden en een informatiebord komen.
In this hemp park they let nature go its own way. Which I like. There are a lot of mushrooms at the moment. It is not big but nice to walk around it.
Perhaps the signs for the circular walk can be restored and an information sign can be added.
