Nice winding path with height difference. Old trees with impressive root systems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi stukje natuur met door palen aangegeven wandelroutes. Naast De Zoom is ook het naastgelegen (Noorden) Boscomplex op Hees een aanrader. Vergeleken met de Soesterduinen aan de overkant van het spoor is het hier een stuk rustiger.
Paaltje nummer 1 staat overigens niet op dit heide veldje, maar dat maakt voor een rondje niet zoveel uit. Wil je wel bij paaltje 1 starten dan moet je iets oostelijker kijken bij de spoorwegovergang.
Beautiful piece of nature with hiking trails marked by poles. In addition to De Zoom, the adjacent (North) Boscomplex on Hees is also highly recommended. Compared to the Soesterduinen on the other side of the railway, it is a lot quieter here.
Pole number 1 is not on this heath field, but that does not matter much for a round. If you do want to start at post 1, then you have to look a little further east at the railway crossing.
