β β β β β I went to eat and drink in Hema. The food is not the best and the hot drinks get cold fast. I go there sometimes if i have nothing to eat at home but it is always the same thing. They never have enough to eat or the food looks like it has been made hours ago. A 1euro hamburger in mcdonalds is better made then what the Hema is selling. Hema is not to expensive but you dont get what you pay for

β β β β β At the bakery and the shop itself the workers were very kind and helpful. I asked the girl working at the bakery for the ingredients of one of the cake and she even printed it out for me.
However I was terribly disappointed at the restaurant/cafe because i was waiting for maybe 5 minutes without being helped. There werent any other customers in line. I literally had to look irritated and make sounds before I finally got helped.

β β β β β This is a fairly big branch of the Hema. I find the staff very friendly they are always willing to help and there always seem to be plenty around when I want to ask a question. There is a big restaurant which is well visited a favourite of elderly people in the area. This Hema has a toilet you pay 50 cents for which is cleaned regularly. There is a baby changing room at busy times you will have to wait in line to make use of these facilities.

β β β β β We had breakfast here. The food was fresh and tasty and, not only that, it was very cheap. Any five items for 2β¬. Great value.
The staff were friendly and the place was clean.

β β β β β What's not to love about the HEMA? Ever since childhood Dutch people of my age and younger have gone to the HEMA, for a wide sorts of variety: clothing, pots and pans, household items, pens and crayons, bike stuff, pastry, a simple snack: it really is the modern equivalent to the Dutch wooden shoes or clogs, the tulips and windmills. If u haven't been in a HEMA, you haven't seen the Netherlands in its entirety!
