Welkom bij Herberg het Volle Leven

Herberg het Volle Leven staat sinds 2004 synoniem voor eten, drinken en slapen in een ongedwongen sfeer en in harmonie met de prachtige natuur van het Drents-Friese Wold. Een plek waar niets hoeft. Onze keuken is volledig vegetarisch en op aanvraag veganistisch en weet al jaren ook de flexitariers en de vleeseters te verrassen en te behagen.

De Herberg ontleent haar naam aan het gedicht ‘Het Volle Leven’ van Judith Herzberg. Dit gedicht weerspiegelt in veel opzichten de kern van onze Herberg: intimiteit, vol van het leven en de momenten en kansen die het leven te bieden heeft.

In de herberg staat gastvrijheid centraal: een warm welkom voor een ieder die hier binnen treedt. De kleinschalige opzet maakt dat we 'het-volle-leven-gevoel' in de praktijk ook echt kunnen waarmaken. Of u nu bij ons komt eten, slapen, vergaderen, trainen, feest vieren, trouwen of op een andere manier gebruik wilt maken van onze diensten!

Duurzame bedrijfsvoering hebben we hoog in ons vaandel. Onze inkoop bestaat grotendeels uit biologische producten. Bij de verwerking hanteren wij een no-waste policy en ons restafval wordt voor een groot deel ter plekke gerecyceld.

Logies en ontbijt is in de vakantieperiodes ook mogelijk op maandag en dinsdag.

En dat in een herberg met weinig pretenties. Aanrader! Very good food at Full Life. The chef has a good sense of flavor combinations and works a lot with seasonal products. And that in an inn with few pretensions. Recommended!

De kamers zijn schoon en netjes, maar ook zonder poespas. Daarnaast is het eten (vegetarisch) er werkelijk geweldig. Iedere avond druk met mensen die puur voor het eten komen. Eten wat de pot schaft zoals we in Holland zeggen, maar het is zeker geen straf. (Veganistisch, glutenvrij etc geen probleem). De naam doet zichzelf eer aan. If you like peace and quiet, this is the inn where you can relax. You can enjoy walking in the area. The rooms are clean and tidy, but also without fuss. In addition, the food (vegetarian) is really great. Busy every night with people who come purely for the food. Eating what the pot is like as we say in Holland, but it is certainly not a punishment. (Vegan, gluten free etc no problem). The name does itself justice.

As a convinced carnivore, you can leave your doubts behind in this all veggie restaurant: you will not regret it. The wonderfully happy and relaxed waitress manages to serve the whole restaurant with a smile and did I mention the food is great? Safran ice-cream with homemade baklava, does that convince you to go?
