Small and quiet, with a beautiful nature reserve. And a riding school, football and swimming area at a very short distance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kerkje dicht op zondag. Hoe raar. Niet dat ik zo graag naar binnen wilde maar had graag de oorlogsgraven bezocht. Wel leuke plekjes om wat plaatjes te schieten en voor mij, redelijk dicht bij huis dus nog maar eens terug tijdens 'golden hour'.
Church closed on Sundays. How strange. Not that I wanted to go in so badly, but would have liked to visit the war graves. Nice places to shoot some pictures and for me, pretty close to home so back again during 'golden hour'.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een fotogeniek kerkje net buiten het dorp. Met de zon op de witte buitenkant komt het kerkje nog meer tot zijn recht.Auto parkeren is wat lastiger.
A photogenic church just outside the village. With the sun on the white exterior, the church comes into its own even more. Parking is a bit more difficult.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtig kerkje uit 1852 waar concerten gehouden worden (Barok in Simonshaven). vlVandaag, 28 januari 2022, het vocaal ensemble Quinck. Prachtige zangers met muziek van Sweelinck. Erg de moeite waard om het programma in de gaten te houden. Het programma wordt goed samengesteld.
Beautiful church from 1852 where concerts are held (Baroque in Simonshaven). vlVandaag, 28 January 2022, the vocal ensemble Quinck. Beautiful singers with music by Sweelinck. Well worth keeping an eye on the program. The program is well put together.
