Da wir alle keine Ahnung über den Ablauf einer Taufe hatten, (allesamt keine Kirchgänger), haben wir uns auf das vorher stattfindende Taufgespräch verlassen. Leider hatte der Pater wohl einen anderen Ablaufplan als wir und hat uns dann in unserer Unsicherheit noch verstärkt. Dass der Pater der deutschen Sprache nicht vollends mächtig ist wußten wir, es ist trotzdem schwer auf unverstandenen Fragen richtig zu antworten. Die vorher ausgesuchten Lieder wurden mit schönem Orgelspiel untermalt, da auch das Singen nicht zu unseren Stärken zählt, setzten wir auf jenen Pater. Fehler. Ein einheitliches unverständliches Murmeln allerseits. Die Taufe war dann auch schnell nach der Hälfte unseres Planes durch. Schön war es, dass unser Patenkind direkt heilig gesprochen wurde. Den Pater empfanden wir trotz allem als sehr sympathisch und nett. Die Kommunikation zwischen Taufgesprächspartner und Pater könnte verbessert werden. Diese Taufe wird uns wohl zu mancher lustigen Konversation verhelfen. We were on Sunday for the baptism of our godchild in the Sacred Heart Church in the Feldmark. Since we all had no idea about the process of a baptism (all not churchgoers), we relied on the baptism discussion that took place beforehand. Unfortunately, the priest probably had a different schedule than we did and then our uncertainty increased. We knew that the priest of the German language is not completely proficient, but it is still difficult to correctly answer misunderstood questions. The previously selected songs were accompanied by a beautiful organ playing, since singing is not one of our strengths, we rely on that father. Error. A uniform incomprehensible murmur from everyone. The baptism was then quickly over halfway through our plan. It was nice that our godchild was canonized directly. Despite everything, we found Father to be very personable and nice. Communication between the baptism partner and the priest could be improved. This baptism will help us to have some fun conversations.
