V	Victor Kleist on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Geweldige plek in de natuur waar je helemaal tot rust komt. Unieke accommodatie waar veel oog voor detail is. Hele vriendelijke gastheer. Een uitstekende gezamenlijke keuken van alle gemakken voorzien. Het we systeem in de winkel is top! Je krijgt een welkom gevoel in de kleine community die de plek vormt waar vertrouwen de toon voert. Van boomhutten tot omgetoverde tuinhuisjes. Het proeft naar meer. Het gevoel dat hier nog veel meer te ontdekken valt. We komen terug!

I slept even deeper. It's a very special place. Creatively furnished,very homely and romantic.Connecting with nature....nature heals. This is the place to go to, to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great for meditation and cleansing.
E	Ester van Miltenburg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful garden and Willem was very friendly. The place is very simple and the raft is in no way mosquito proof so we didn't sleep at all the first night. Willem was very friendly about it and helped us look for a solution, but we were disappointed by his wife's reaction. The raft is obviously built with a lot of love, but overall the experience was quite expensive.
M	Margarita Osipian on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a beautiful and unique place. The owners, Willem and Jacqueline, were warm, welcoming, and always helpful. You could tell that a lot of love and creativity went into everything here, all the small houses, gardens, and quiet areas were built with tranquility in mind. The breakfast was also very nice and a little bit different each morning. You can just rest and relax here, and it’s a great place to explore the Friesian countryside and other small villages. You can also rent a canoe to peddle through the small canals. The nearby village of Easterein is really cute and has an amazing restaurant. I heard the owners are selling the place, so I hope the new owners keep it as unique and tranquil as it is now.

It's very basic and got no running water, but was clean, well maintained, cozily decorated and has sufficient cooking equipment for basic cooking. The shared sanitary facilities were in good shape and clean. Don't think of it as a hotel room. Instead, it's a romantic outdoor cabin. Best of all: sitting around a wood heater is the best way of spending a cold winter evening.

The cute windows and lovely interior made it a very cozy, if initially quite cold, tiny room. The fact that the bathrooms were in a different building was no hindrance to us. And the lovely cat was a great bonus!
