Het draagt de titel Koningshuis, al heeft het niks met het Nederlands Koningshuis van doen.
Het is een kantoorgebouw in de overgangsarchitectuur met expressionistische elementen. Het werd gebouwd voor de Provinciale Noordbrabantse Electriciteitsmaatschappij (PNEM) wat uiteindelijk is opgegaan in Essent. Wat op zijn beurt onderdeel is van het Duitse energieconcern Innogy
De centrales van Geertuidenberg, Moerdijk en Cuijk vallen onder Essent.
This national monument represents the growth of the electricity supply in North Brabant. It was built in 1921 at Koningsweg 66.
It bears the title Royal House, although it has nothing to do with the Dutch Royal Family.
It is an office building in transitional architecture with expressionist elements. It was built for the Provinciale Noordbrabantse Electriciteitsmaatschappij (PNEM), which eventually became part of Essent. Which in turn is part of the German energy group Innogy
The power plants of Geertuidenberg, Moerdijk and Cuijk come under Essent.
