Unfortunately unfriendly reception staff is working here. Absolutely inconvenient sport center. If you are OneFitter, you are only allowed to use a changing room and only a class timing. If you would like to warm up, to do some other trainings or to stretch... forget about it here :( because you are not allowed to stay in the training room after your training or to go to a fitness area.

Decent pool, clean and tidy. Could get 5 stars if they would manage the "fast lane" (no fast people in that lane ;)).

A fantastic facility with easy ? changing areas and if first time a little confusing but great once you figure it out. The pool is divine!

Perfect place to bring the family and easy to book / reserve your spot without a lot of forward planning. Unlike Sportplaza Mercator, Het Marnix actually has spaces (when you want them) available!

Don’t go there if you have the choice! Very expensive but am using only due to location convenience, around 67€ monthly fee for kids group swimming lessons (4 per months) Registered in August and had to pay around 30€ only to reserve a spot! And got a call in November/December to start. They gave my child a tight swimsuit (shorts and jacket) to wear as swimming uniform. I forgot the jacket once and was rudely asked to leave the class as kids in shorts uniform without the jacket uniform are NOT ALLOWED to join the lesson!!! Moreover the lesson is FULLY CHARGED!!! After a long discussion I was offered to buy a second uniform for another 67€ If I want my child to join his PAID LESSON!!! SERIOUSLY??? They said it is the rule but I was never informed about it.

Horrible staff except for one nice lady. With covid they seem to love making life as difficult as possible. The swimming lessons for kids are expensive and ineffective. Do yourself a favor, go find another place. Outside of covid or if you are just going for a free swim it's okay.

The place is usually packed on the weekend so be prepared to be squeezed in lanes where people do not respect the speeds or swimming styles required, nobody's here to enforce them anyway. Wearing a swimming cap or proper swimming attire is not mandatory (some people/men are wearing beach swimming shorts) , this is a bit disgusting but I guess must be a cultural thing (I'm not Dutch). The changing rooms are OK when herds of hormonal teenagers are not acting like mating chimps (again nobody will stop them), but the locker system is just a joke, it's easy to either lock yourself out or be unlocked by someone else if you don't pay attention. Also the lockers themselves are so tiny that you basically stuff your wet clothes in. But my main comment is that it's packed (quotas and reservation would be nice) and the absence of mandatory caps and swimming attire is gross.
