About Het Opstapje
Al sinds de negentiende eeuw zat er in de Boteringestraat in hartje Groningen een warme bakker. De bakker heeft decennia lang gefloreerd als één van de drie B's, de in Groningen welbekende Bolt familie, indertijd één de drie grote bakkers van de stad. Sinds Het Opstapje zijn intrek nam in de bakkerij, is de nadruk verschoven van warme broden naar bourgondische belegde broodjes.
Croissanterie - Boulangerie
De naam Het Opstapje verwijst naar het stoepje voor onze deur waar u onze croissanterie/ boulangerie aan kunt herkennen en dat u ook terug kunt vinden in ons logo. Ook verwijst Het Opstapje naar mijn eerste stap in de wereld van het ondernemerschap, een stap waar ik nog geen dag spijt van heb gehad. Dankzij het warme en persoonlijke contact met de klanten van Het Opstapje ga ik dagelijks met plezier naar mijn werk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is okay. The service is a shame for the Horeca. Waiters dont look at you, don't even say "enjoy your meal" or anything. Glasses were disgusting... I went to get a new one, in result they gave me another dirty glass.
I do not recommend this place nor shall i ever come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fresh fruitshakes werent really fresh, and fairly small, tasted fine though.
And the lunchmeals were perpared a little poorly, and we had to wait fairly long for them.
I wouldnt advice the 'buenos aires' in particular.
However most of this probably had to do with the fact that it was busy, while only two staffmembers were present.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely cosy little eatery. Friendly staff that brought our drinks promptly and gave good advice re contents of the rolls we ordered. Arrived exactly as ordered and were delicious. Good pricing and tasty. All components were fresh and soft and tender or crisp and hard where applicable. Loo's were clean and below in the basement area. My wife has been coming here since the 1990s and if anything it has improved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked it here. It was nice and cozy, the staff was friendly. We only had hot beverages and no food, but I could tell by the looks of it that it was homemade. The coffee and the hot chocolate was delicious. They served a little sweet bread with it for free. The prices were perfectly fine. The bathroom was very small but clean.
The only thing I do not like is the paying system. I'd rather prefer paying at the table, then handing it over a big counter at the entry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere and very delicious food. We had some coffee too. The espresso could have been a little stronger and could have had more cream but the latte macchiato was perfect. The service was very good too.
