β β β β β It's kind of a unique place and definitely worth it just taking a stroke through it. It's not a place that you can spend lots of time and if you bring small kids be aware that you need to hold their hands all the time cause there's water everywhere ?

β β β β β Het Verdronken Bos ("The drowned Forest") is a beautiful spot near Houten, a town in The vicinity of Utrecht. This part of the forest flooded a whilst ago. A boardwalk above the water allows you to explore the area, watch bids and even have a picnic. Great to incorporate into a walk with children.
