If you're enroute from or to the UK then I would highly recommend making time to enjoy some of the best fish and chips we've ever had. Not just random pieces of cod and haddock in batter but Salmon, herring, mackerel too. You can pick your fish and its cooked there and then in perfect batter. €7.50 for large cod and fries with mayo. Can't be bad ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic dutch FISH > according to locals the best fish at Hook of Holland beach near Rotterdam. Fishshack ‘Hoekse Vishandel’ does a damn good job! Locals gather here already from 8 o’clock in the morning. The Kibbeling is particularly good. Perfectly cooked fish with a crunchy batter crust. Not dry or chewy at all! Which is mostly the case at your average fish shop. If you’re in the area. Order some!
