Nice place that you just pass by if you don't know it is there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an almshouse founded in 1646 by Margeretha Splinter. A courtyard that you do not expect on the Ritsevoort. It is still inhabited as ever intended by eight unmarried ladies. In the courtyard is a beautiful West Frisian statue made by Siem Wardenaar. Usually accessible to the public during the day?

Open:
01 April to 01 October
Monday to Saturday 11.00-20.15
