★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The stairs on this bridge are madly designed. Too small for one step, too big for two. The elevator promises two floors but there is only one. Thats deceiving and messes with the zen of the bridge. Above and beyond, I droppd my ice cream on the bridge. Traumatic experience, not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bridge was built in 2003 and provides a crossing for vehicles, bikes and pedestrians. There are even elevators on both ends for those who are les mobile.
It is a beautiful bridge with some amazing lights at night.

Using this bridge is hardly better than swimming across

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for watching the boats and seeing both sides of the river. There are some shops and restaurants around. Or enjoy a coffee and snack by the river. It is close to the city park. Wide lens are recommended to take pictures of the river and the city landscape.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It seems like it was always there! In fact it shortened the distance between Jekerqwartier and public library, for example. Before one had to make quite a curve going through the crowd of a historical centre.
There are also lifts on both sides.
Very nice view because of its altitude.
