★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De slechtste hogeschool van Nederland. Dramatische (online) faciliteiten, afschuwelijk slecht en onbehulpzaam personeel en heerlijk bureaucratisch.
Zorg dat je hier zo snel mogelijk weg bent en ga lekker naar de uni.
 The worst university of applied sciences in the Netherlands. Dramatic (online) facilities, horribly poor and unhelpful staff and wonderfully bureaucratic.
Get out of here as soon as possible and go to uni.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De HU biedt een fijne leeromgeving met voldoende ruimte voor alle (deeltijd)studenten.
Genoeg roltrappen voor luie mensen zoals ik, maar ook normale trappen als je wat actiever bent.
Wel een beetje raar dat je nog een mondkapje op moet als je door de gang loopt, maar dat dat in de klas niet hoeft. Ik snapte dat niet. ?♂️
Achja, de studie is weer begonnen! ??
The HU offers a pleasant learning environment with sufficient space for all (part-time) students.
Enough escalators for lazy people like me, but also normal stairs if you're a bit more active.
A bit strange that you still have to wear a mouth cap when you walk through the corridor, but that you don't have to do that in class. I didn't get that. ?♂️
Oh well, the study has started again! ??

De kantine heeft ook veel variatie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slechte hogeschool van Nederland. Een paar jaar op rij. Het is zeker te merken aan de slechte communicatie naar de studenten toe. Ook zijn de docenten hier ongekwalifiseerd en komen ze soms zelfs niet opdagen in de les!! Ga niet naar deze school, het bespaart je de totale frustratie en geld.
Bad university of applied sciences in the Netherlands. A few years in a row. It is certainly noticeable in the poor communication towards the students. Also, the teachers here are unqualified and sometimes they don't even show up for class!! Don't go to this school, it will save you total frustration and money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We waren hier voor een open dag. We kwamen voor de afdeling 'life science'. Het was uitstekend georganiseerd en zowel de docenten als de studenten deden enthousiast hun verhaal. Tijdens de proef op het lab werd een duidelijk voorbeeld geschetst wat we konden verwachten tijdens de studie. Mijn zoon is in ieder geval nu al enthousiast en kan niet wachten om te beginnen aan de studie microbiologie.
We were here for an open day. We came for the 'life science' department. It was excellently organized and both the teachers and the students enthusiastically shared their stories. During the trial in the lab, a clear example was outlined of what we could expect during the study. In any case, my son is already enthusiastic and can't wait to start studying microbiology.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I just finished my 4 year marketing study here and the education has poorly covered the basics, that's it. Apart from that the university decided to change my bachelor degree during my study time and the name of my study course without any sort of communication. To account for these changes I was promised a document that would provide context for future employers. I have been waiting for this document for 3 months now and the responsible individuals have been lying consistently to me without sending it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girlfriend is doing a semester abroad in Utrecht. It is a joke that the University is allowed to call it "Study". Her timetable is officially only 12 hours a week including lecture, excercise and presentations.
Out of those 12 hours 3 hours were cancelled and 1.5 hours is a recap of the last week and finishes after 10 minutes. And from the 3 hour lecture many finish after 1.5 hours or less. The professors always have to leave for different reasons (Children, Illness, Emergencies, ...).
Effectively she has about ~6 hours of University every week, holidays every ~3 weeks and gets 30 Credit Points for that "study".
Of course she also has to attend exams, but those are at school level.
(For comparison: In her german University, she has 30+ hours a week of class + homework + presentations + exams)
Additionally the Professors just go home and relax most of the time, presenting it as a "feature" that they have no working rooms. So if you want to talk to your professor, you must write them on whats app and hope they come to university for you. Or they will just answer via chat.
Also I was asked to add that the scripts from the professors are disordered and a mess.
I give 0 Stars for the University and Study
+ 1 Star for having half a year of holiday.
