Holiday park Center Parcs De Eemhof - Slingerweg 1

BEWARE SCAM Center park. After government announcement for containment. Unable to reach the number provided by the hotel. The Paris exchange does not respond. Cannot cancel. This morning they tell me 100% at our expense. Appeal for legal protection today. The hotel is no longer responding. The group in Paris is no longer responding. BEWARE GROUP SCAM

We booked a stay of three nights last weekend in this park with our son who is 1.5 years old. The children seat in our room has no safety belt and my son fell to the floor. Then we ended up in a hospital. The CS of center parks refused to refund or compensate our bad experience and loss, and told us that’s because of we hadn’t purchased their insurance… Will for sure not stay in any of center parks because of their bad customer services and unsafe conditions… What they replied is conflicting with their standard “As an organisation we do everything possible to create a safe environment. For example, an annual safety inspection is carried out by an external organisation and we try to maintain safety at all times.” LIES! PLEASE also do not ask me to contact you again for a “solution’. I think you have all my booking details and if you really want to fix this, you can reach me pretty easily.

Great place to enjoy with kids. Only problem was the way to the marketdoom had no lights, and its pretty dark so you can only manage to walk with your torch on the phone open

Really nice resort close to Amsterdam. Stayed at the marina. The rooms were massive and well equipped. View from room was great. Only issue that on arrival the fridge was not working and the freezer ice melted leaving a pool of water in the fridge for us to clean. There was also a dirty dish and tray in the microwave which indicated apartment was cleaned properly. Lastly the window was stuck open the whole night and maintenance needed a key to unlock it the next day. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great for family vacations. The Aqua Mundo is absolutely great. There's the Action Factory with a big climbing frame for smaller kids (Ballorig/Monkey Town) and pool tables for the bigger kids and some game machines (expensive). When there's good weather, there are plenty of outside activities. There's also a few child-friendly restaurants, and a very expensive supermarket.

✅ If you're going in low season (it gets insanely busy on Saturdays and Sundays and obviously during school holidays), this is the most beautiful pool you'll find in the Netherlands. It's just gorgeous! They also have plenty of slides and fun things like the wild water and wave pool, including a nice outdoor pool. The temperature in the dome is super warm, when the sun is shinning it makes you feel like you're in the tropics. It is very nice. ✅ The Action Factory has a soft playground suitable for children under 12 (there are some annoying older teenagers that are quite rough from time to time so pay attention to your kids) and they have a arcade hall, it's small and on the expensive side but it's not too bad. Toddlers will enjoy the soft playground. ✅ Free entertainment like the quiz night, it was quite fun. There was also a bingo night for 12 euros per bingo card. Not too bad and it was quite fun. ✖️ EXTRA COSTS: Way too many extra costs, I wish they would be more transparent with the final price. The price they offer ends up being 100 euro+ more expensive as you have to pay service costs, bed sheets, towels, etc. ✖️ Activities are very overpriced. Their supermarket and restaurants are also way more expensive than a regular supermarket. ✖️ Besides being expensive, food is awful, like really really bad. I don't eat out often so I glady cook at the cottage but for people that enjoy eating out, this isn't the holiday park for you especially since there isn't much nearby other than the center parcs restaurants. ✖️ I had the VIP Cottage and I had some issues with awful sewer smell coming from the sink in the toilet, luckily after a day suffering we managed to fix it by letting the tap run for a few minutes. The bubble bath didn't work so it's a shame we couldn't use it. I found the mattress and pillows horribly uncomfortable (way too soft, cheap quality) but it might be a personal taste. The cottage was big enough and it looked okay, the kitchen was fully loaded with utensils. ➡️ My 4 year old child LOVED it and I'm pretty sure any kid under 13 will have the time of their lives there. For parents it might be less nice as there are some issues as I mentioned above. Would I come here without children? Maybe, but just for the pool. It isn't the best place for an adults only holiday, too many children and activities are children centered.

I've been to a lot of Centre Parcs and I have to say the surroundings here are so beautiful. Visited at the beginning January and the weather was awful, also during lockdown. But it didn't seem to matter because I felt like I was walking in near paradise. We had a VIP apartment with jacuzzi and sauna, both used frequently. And the view from the apartment was gorgeous, over looking the marina and further the mainland. Best of the best.

Really great park! Renewed and very snug cottages indeed! Only the mattress was on the rather hard side. Got a little back pain from it since I am not used to that. Otherwise definitely a go to place for in the future as well. Two really good super tubes and a separate piece where you can ?‍♀️ surfe! Very kid friendly environment. Staff is really kind and helpful.
