β β β β β Such a unique and idyllic way to enjoy the wayways and get outside the city. It checked so many boxes for us, it was well worth the cost and time: canal cruise, windmills, bridges, grazing pastures, wildlife, peaceful local living and best of all, the most delightful and warm hosts. Truly a lot of beauty and fun! Would recommend it to any of my dearest critics and friends worry free.

β β β β β Holland Outdoorβs half-day National Park and Coastal Tour was an amazing and truly enjoyable experience. Guides Arjan and Laura were the BEST! I highly recommend signing up for this. Seeing the beauty outside the craziness, the giant fields of flowers, deer, sand dunes, swans, narrow roads and beautiful farms, the coast with itβs history, and stopping for fresh seafood and local coffee was the perfect way to end our long trip. It was very educational, and Laura and Arjan kept it fun. Lots of laughs. I look forward to going back and doing the half-day boat trip with them.

β β β β β I had the most wonderful experience with Laura and Arjan!
We went to Amsterdamβs national park and saw several deer on our pleasant walk, the park was beautiful and full of life
These great hosts provided tea and a scrumptious seafood lunch by the beach, where I tried fresh herring for the first time and it was delicious
Everyone must have this experience when visiting Amsterdam; it is one of a kind and truly memorable. For my first time in the country it made a great impression and I will definitely be returning
Thank you Laura and Arjan, I hope to see you again soon!

β β β β β It is nearly impossible to believe that such incredible natural wonders exist so close to the urban area of Amsterdam. With Arjan and Laura as our expert guides, our Holland Outdoors half-day National Park and Coastal Tour was a uniquely local vacation adventure.
During the first part of our Tour we had the opportunity to experience the remarkable biosphere of the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen nature preserve while enjoying a relaxing hike away from the crowds of the City.
We traversed an extensive desert-like area before the landscape transforms again into a beautiful savanna. We lost count of the number of deer that we spotted along the way. It was also fascinating to realize that this expansive dune area also serves to filter rainwater as part of the drinking water system for residents of the Amsterdam area.
After our hike we stopped at a wonderful local bistro located in an organic greenhouse and lingered over lattes before heading out to explore the beaches of Zandvoort.
Seeing is believing when you behold the stunning beaches of Hollandβs North Sea bordered and protected by the magnificent dunes. Our lovely seaside walk was capped off with a visit to an iconically Dutch roadside seafood kiosk where we feasted on Hollandse Nieuwe Herring β raw fish with chopped onions and pickles and also a selection of delicately fried fish β delicious!
Thank you to Arjan and Laura for your wonderful hospitality and giving us that special feeling of βLocals travelling with friends.β ~Cathy Berkhout-Bosse & John Bosse, Niagara Region - Canada
