About Holland Plant B.V.
Piet van der Klugt is op vrijdag 8 mei 2020 overleden. Hij is 93 jaar geworden. Wat in 1953 begon als Plantenkwekerij A.J. van der Klugt & Zn., is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot één van de meest vooraanstaande opkweekbedrijven voor groenteplanten en sierteelt, Hollandplant te Bergschenhoek. Hij was geridderd in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau.
Piet is ook na zijn pensionering enorm betrokken gebleven bij de ontwikkeling en voortgang van het bedrijf. Hij kwam regelmatig langs voor een rondje over de tuinen en een praatje met de mensen.
Wij bewonderen hem voor zijn ondernemerschap, moed, optimisme en zijn steevast persoonlijk contact met iedereen. Wij zijn ‘’vader’’ Piet dankbaar voor wat hij voor de kwekerij en medewerkers heeft betekend.
Piet was steun en toeverlaat voor zijn familie. Het gemis zal dan ook groot voor hen zijn. Wij wensen echtgenote, kinderen en kleinkinderen enorm veel sterkte met dit verlies.
