Dit is mij zeer goed bevallen: het is laagdrempelig, de lessen zijn actief, door de verschillende leslocaties kun je ook trainen in diverse settingen en heb je direct hulp wanneer de hond (of baas) het spannend vindt. Er is veel aandacht voor het individu, zowel hond als baas. Anita staat altijd open voor vragen of suggesties en zorgt met de nodige humor voor een ontspannen sfeer. Ik vond het fijn dat het beide keren in kleine groepjes plaatsvond en kijk ernaar uit om hier straks een vervolg aan het te geven. At Anita I followed the puppy course and young dog course. I liked this very much: it is accessible, the lessons are active, because of the different lesson locations you can also train in various settings and you have immediate help when the dog (or owner) finds it exciting. There is a lot of attention for the individual, both dog and owner. Anita is always open to questions or suggestions and creates a relaxed atmosphere with the necessary humor. I liked that it took place in small groups both times and look forward to continuing it here.

Anita is een ontzettend fijne trainer die heel gericht goede tips kan geven, maar die jou ook heel graag meeneemt naar de verschillende locaties om te oefenen en te trainen met je pup. Zo leert je pup niet op een vaste terrein de commando's en de oefeningen, maar eigenlijk overal. Hoewel we vaak op dezelfde plekken terecht zijn gekomen door COVID-19, merk ik toch dat het veel leuker is om op verschillende plekken te trainen. Kortom. Goede oefeningen, goede uitleg, goede tips. Bij Hondenacademie Friesland zit je gebakken. Wij gaan in ieder geval hier nog wel een flinke tijd mee door! :) The first puppy course through Hondenacademie Friesland is over. Anita is a very nice trainer who can give very specific good tips, but who is also very happy to take you to the different locations to practice and train with your puppy. This way your puppy does not learn the commands and the exercises on a fixed terrain, but actually everywhere. Although we often ended up in the same places because of COVID-19, I still notice that it is much more fun to train in different places. In short. Good exercises, good explanations, good tips. You are in the right place at Hondenacademie Friesland. In any case, we will continue with this for quite some time! :)
P	Pien Notermans on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Molly is mijn vierde Rhodesian Ridgeback. Ervaring genoeg dus om een pup de basiscomando’s zoals ‘zit’, ‘af’, en ‘kom hier’ bij te brengen. Toch ga ik graag met een nieuwe pup op les omdat ik het leuk vind even 1 op 1 met de kleine te trainen. Bovendien woon ik in een natuurgebied dat niet toegankelijk is voor honden en zien we, op wat buurhonden na, maar weinig andere honden. Toch wel een puntje voor een goede socialisatie. Dus hup, naar de puppycursus. Na een paar weken degelijke les bij een andere hondenschool, in het donker ( tja, winter...), te hebben gevolgd, vond ik het eigenlijk een beetje saai. Niet slecht of zo maar weinig verrassend. Tijd voor een nieuwe invalshoek! Via internet kwam ik bij Anita en Tea van de hondenacademie terecht. Les overdag en op verschillende locaties, dat klonk goed . De eerste les was een verademing: de honden mochten lekker los! Met allerlei leuke oefeningen en spelletjes pik je ongemerkt toch weer en heleboel op. Ook bleek dat in de loop van de tijd de inzichten in hondengedrag weer wat waren bijgesteld en leerde ik ook weer nieuwe dingen: je mag/moet je hond troosten, steun geven en beschermen. Timing is wel belangrijk, net als bij belonen. Moest je vroeger vervelend gedrag negeren, nu hoef je niet meer de andere kant op te kijken, maar mag je bij je hond d.m.v. je stem aangeven dat je dit gedrag liever niet wilt zien. Fijn, ik was ook niet zo goed in negeren. Wat voor mij de allerbeste tip was? Als je wil dat je hond iets niet doet, moet hij dat wel leren. Bijvoorbeeld het opspringen. Ik kan wel tegen mijn hond roepen dat hij laag moet blijven maar als ik ook het commando hoog leer, valt het kwartje goed en sneller. Na de basis te hebben opgebouwd in het gebied van de Groene Ster, waren we klaar voor het echte werk: trainen op locatie. Eerst met de trein naar Leeuwarden en oefeningen doen op het station. Erg leuk! Molly had vooral veel trek in de rondscharrelende duiven. De volgende les was in en om het winkelcentrum van Bilgaard. Ook veel lol gehad, de honden waren gebiologeerd door de vogelkooi bij de dierenwinkel, ze kwijlden ervan. En Molly gooide alle bordjes van het schap, veel lawaai en een goed troostmoment. Na nog een les in een ander bosje (waarbij de honden niet achter drie reeën aangingen, keurig!) zit de eerste cursus er al weer op. Gelukkig zijn er nog een heleboel andere mogelijkheden bij de hondenacademie waarvan Molly en ik er vast nog een paar gaan proberen! Mijn complimenten aan Anita voor haar kennis en de duidelijke uitleg. Tea bedankt voor de leuke inval-les. Els Brouwer en Molly Molly is my fourth Rhodesian Ridgeback. Timing is important, just as with rewarding. In the past you had to ignore annoying behavior, now you no longer have to look the other way, but you can go to your dog by using it. indicate your vote that you would rather not see this behavior. Fine, I wasn't that good at ignoring either. What was the best tip for me? If you want your dog to do something, he must learn it. For example, the jump. I can say to my dog that he should stay low, but if I also learn the command high, the penny is good and faster. After having built up the basis in the area of the Green Star, we were ready for the real thing: training on location. First by train to Leeuwarden and doing exercises at the station. Very nice! Molly was particularly interested in the pigeons that roam around. The next lesson was in and around the Bilgaard shopping center. Also had a lot of fun, the dogs were mesmerized by the birdcage at the pet store, they drooled. And Molly threw all plates off the shelf, a lot of noise and a good consolation moment. After another lesson in another grove (where the dogs didn't go after three deer, neat!) The first course is already over. Fortunately, there are a lot of other options at the dog academy, of which Molly and I will probably try a few more! My compliments to Anita for her knowledge and clear explanation. Met de nodige humor hield ze de cursisten bij de les waardoor tijd niet verspild werd. Mijn hond is als bang vogeltje begonnen, en als zelfverzekerde jonge hond vertrokken. We hebben nog veel aan de info en adviezen die we hebben mee gekregen. I was taught by Anita with my puppy. The lessons are fun for dog and owner, and the trainer had a lot of knowledge and experience. With the necessary humor, she kept the students focused so that time was not wasted. My dog started out as a scared little bird and left as a confident young dog. We still have a lot of use from the information and advice that we have received.

Wij hebben veel geleerd, niet alleen de standaard commando's, maar ook over het gedrag van mens en hond. De cursus is laagdrempelig en voor iedereen goed te volgen. Wij gaan samen nog even door!! Together with Rex (Rhodesian Ridgeback) I did the puppy course and now we do the young dog course. We have learned a lot, not only the standard commands, but also about human and dog behavior. The course is accessible and easy to follow for everyone. We will continue together !!

Ik ben begonnen met de pupcursus, daarna de Jongehondencursus en nu doen Aron en ik mee aan de funcursus. We hebben veel plezier in de cursussen. We zijn met ons groepje van vier vanaf de pupcursus doorgestroomd naar de rest van de cursussen. Dat is heel gezellig, je leert elkaar en elkaars honden kennen. We hebben onze Aron echt zien groeien in zijn gedrag in de afgelopen maanden. Maar waar ik al snel achterkwam dat ik veel moest leren! Al is dit al mijn derde hond. Wat ik vooral prettig vind is dat we veel bezig zijn tijdens de lessen en niet veel stil staan, dat is voor een stuiterbal als Aron erg prettig. We gaan hierna nog door naar de gehoorzaamheidscursus. Samengevat, leerzaam, gezellig, veel kennis van hondengedrag en ruimte voor vragen is wat deze hondenschool zo goed maakt. I started with the puppy course, then the Young dog course and now Aron and I are taking part in the fun course. We enjoy the courses a lot. With our group of four, we moved on from the puppy course to the rest of the courses. That is very nice, you get to know each other and each other's dogs. We have really seen our Aron grow in his behavior in recent months. But where I soon discovered that I had to learn a lot! Although this is already my third dog. What I particularly like is that we are busy a lot during the lessons and don't stand still much, that is very pleasant for a bouncing ball like Aron. We then continue to the obedience course. Veel geleerd en had graag doorgegaan maar doordat de lessen buiten zijn en de koude periode nu aankomt is dit voor mij helaas niet meer haalbaar vanwege reuma. Persoonlijke, afwisselende en interessante lessen waar ik en Austin beide elke week weer naar uitkijken. Ik heb ontzettend veel geleerd en zal vast nog veel mee leren de komende weken. De groepen zijn klein waardoor er voor iedereen genoeg aandacht is. Ik zou Hondenacademie Friesland aan iedereen aanraden. I followed the puppy course with my dog Austin and we have just started the young dog course. Personal, varied and interesting classes that me and Austin both look forward to every week. I have learned an awful lot and will probably learn a lot in the coming weeks. The groups are small, so there is enough attention for everyone. I would recommend Hondenacademie Friesland to everyone.
