★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vandaag weer geweest met 1 Schot en 1 Schot x Westie. Ze zijn weer prachtig. Wat een geduld heeft Lydia toch telkens weer. De Westie x Schot (Benji) is het trimmen niet gewend (hebben wij als "2e hands" hondje in huis gekregen...) maar we verzinnen telkens weer iets zodat hij kan wennen aan het trimmen. En dat lukt heel goed!
Went again today with 1 Scot and 1 Scot x Westie. They are beautiful again. Lydia always has such patience. The Westie x Schot (Benji) is not used to trimming (we got it as a "2nd hand" dog...) but we always come up with something so that he can get used to trimming. And that works very well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mijn Schotjes (Schotse Terrier) komen hier al jaren. Het zijn 2 heel verschillende teefjes uit 1 nest (zusjes). Als ze bij Klein Duimpje zijn geweest weet ik niet meer wie wie is. Ondanks dat er iets meer dan een kilo verschil in lichaamsgewicht is lijken ze dan exact op elkaar.
Op mijn verzoek worden mijn Schotjes niet geplukt maar geschoren (alleen de ruggen en de flanken). Zomers iets korter en voor de winter iets langer. En zo ook de rokken.
My Scots (Scottish Terrier) have been coming here for years. They are 2 very different females from 1 litter (sisters). If they have been to Tom Thumb, I no longer know who is who. Despite the fact that there is a little more than a kilo difference in body weight, they look exactly alike.
At my request my Scots are not plucked but shaved (only the backs and flanks). A little shorter in summer and a little longer for winter. And so are the skirts.
