★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to know why my wife and I were placed in the embarrassing situation this afternoon at your Sassenheim store when we tried to pay for the shopping with a UK credit and debit card both of which were refused? If we did not have the cash then we would have had to leave the shopping.
We were informed by your staff that the shop chain does not accept UK debit or credit cards, this despite your website stating that you do accept both. Can you please explain why this appears to be the case or is it that you are discriminating against the British traveler?
If you do not accept British bank cards then you need to publish this in order that subsequent tourists are well informed.
Or if it is a case that staff have to alter the way card transactions are processed then you need to explain this to your staff and train them accordingly.
I will be posting this on line so that future tourists to the area are informed and avoid using your stores or at least have enough cash to pay for any transactions.
