β β β β β Best beach in Groningen 10/10. Always filled with nice people. Enough place for a big bbq. Grass fields. Trees are everywhere enough shade for everyone. Water quality is not great. Be careful during the summer. Lots of playground in the area. Bring your music and play it loud. Just be careful of people around you. There is enough room for everyone. Enough and free parking sposmakes this the best place to go during heat waves ?

β β β β β Great beach like facility for Groningen city people such as students. Very large bicycle parking available as well as toilets. You can rent a sup board from Teuntje de Slak to spend some time on the water.
