Hoppenbrouwer Almelo heeft ons rond de kerst 2020 nadat onze cv-ketel door storing was uitgevallen en wij een week in de vrieskou en zonder warm water hebben gezeten een installatie van een nieuwe cv ketel aangeboden voor een geschat bedrag van 2.000,- euro. De installatie is verder prima verlopen. Maar uiteindelijk werden wij wel onaangenaam verrast door de factuur van 2.800,- (40%!! hoger dan begroot) Volgens Hoppenbouwers kwam dat omdat wij voor een andere (duurdere) ketel en thermostaat hadden gekozen. Bij nader onderzoek bleek echter dat de gekozen ketel weliswaar iets duurder zou zijn maar veel goedkoper dan op de factuur vermeld, nog los van het inkoopvoordeel dat zij als installatie bedrijf doorgaans hebben, dit was dus geen plausibele verklaring van het prijsverschil. Hoppenbrouwer heeft achteraf een onevenredig hoge marge op de door hun ingekochte cv-ketel berekend. Hoppenbrouwer moet vooraf in het offerte-stadium eerlijker en transparanter zijn in hun verdienmodel en de uiteindelijke prijs, een overschrijding van +40% op een begroting zonder verdere bijzonderheden is gewoon onacceptabel veel. Omdat zij ook weigeren dit toe te geven gaan wij in ieder geval op zoek naar een andere installateur.
Bad experience, invoice is 40% higher than the quote !!
Hoppenbrouwer Almelo offered us an installation of a new central heating boiler around Christmas 2020 after our central heating boiler had failed due to a malfunction and we had been in the freezing cold for a week without hot water for an estimated amount of 2,000 euros. The installation went fine. But in the end we were unpleasantly surprised by the invoice of 2,800 (40% !! higher than budgeted) According to Hoppenbouwers, this was because we had opted for a different (more expensive) boiler and thermostat. However, further investigation revealed that the chosen boiler would be slightly more expensive but much cheaper than stated on the invoice, regardless of the purchasing advantage that they usually have as an installation company, so this was not a plausible explanation for the price difference. Afterwards, Hoppenbrouwer calculated a disproportionately high margin on the central heating boiler they purchased. Hoppenbrouwer must be fairer and more transparent in their earnings model in advance in the quotation stage and the final price, an overrun of + 40% on a budget without further details is simply unacceptable. Because they also refuse to admit this, we will in any case look for another installer.
