It was clean enough and served well as a place to just sleep and keep your things while you explore the city. Decent location with easy access to trams and adjacent to Vondelpark, thought it is around half an hour away from the city centre. Plus the walls are super thin which, while interesting for me, learning about our neighbours at 3am, probably wouldn't be so welcome by others. I think there are definitely better options around Amsterdam but with friendly staff in a quiet neighbourhood it really was a good stay. (Also directly under the flight path of planes for the first couple of days we were there...)

Room was very small somewhat claustrophobic. We spent only 2 nights and literary only used the room 2 sleep, the room was clean, bathroom had a walk in shower was also clean. Best bit about the hotel was the staff someone was on reception 24/7 and was very friendly and helpful with local directions and transport links also told us to be careful, most helpful staff member was an Asian gentlemen very nice person. Finally you can hire bikes from the hotel @ €5 for a few hours or €16 for the whole day, we would go back as the hotel is located well.

Nice hotel, not too far from the city center. Maybe 2 km / 15 min bicycle ride. The tram is a 9-10 minutes walk away. The hotel is right next to Vondelpark, which is a huge beautiful park to walk/run/bicycle. The hotel offers renting a bicycle for 15 euros a day each, but make sure you ask them beforehand as they get booked pretty quickly. The hotel staff is friendly, especially the room service and restaurant staff. ??

Very conveniently located near to the metro and city and I got a great deal - a little over 60 euros per night. Price went up dramatically on the weekend though but I don’t think it would have been worth it for that price. The room is incredibly small but it was clean. At first, only one light in my room worked but the man at the front desk replaced the bulbs promptly. Phone also didn’t work. I was told that there were making some renovations on the 2nd floor and that was the reason why things weren’t working as expected. I didn’t spend much time in the room as I was only in the city for one day so it served my purpose well. I was a solo traveler so I didn’t mind the incredible small room. Breakfast was included in my room rate and it was decent. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you are able to get a good rate. Wouldn’t pay anything more that 70 euro per night here as there are way better hotel options if you spend upwards of 100 euros.

We booked 2 rooms in the hotel for the weekend of 17 - 18 April via Agoda and paid with a creditcard where they already took the money from us. When we arrived at the hotel there was no one there, the hotel was closed and the phone number did not work anymore. I call this fraud and reaching Agoda now to solve this is also a nightmare.

Really nice little hotel in an ideal location! The room we stayed in was very small and a bit cramped but this didn’t bother us. We did have an issue with the water not being hot one morning, well it was roasting for me but then 20 minutes later it was cold for my boyfriend, we only had this issue once. Staff were friendly and gave us a leaflet and a map when we checked in explaining the hotel rules, breakfast and what bus goes to the airport which was really helpful! *Overall this hotel was very cheap and it was in a quiet part with loads of restaurants and trams going into central, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. :) -Pictures are the view from our room-

To say it with one word: Disgusting. The carpet has more stains than clear parts. The walls are dirty with food, dirt, dead mosquitoes and things I don't even want to think about. The shower is almost falling apart (had to repair door and shower head on my own!) In addition the water doesn't heat up, I told the receptionist, he "resetted the boiler". Afterwards we had medium warm water for 5 Minutes. Then it went cold again. On thy website it says there is free breakfast, first when you check in they tell you that it's not done anymore. Kinda scary fact is also, that the entrancedoor is open all day & night! One and only positive fact: There is a daily room cleaning.

Lovely quiet area right by a lovely park, but my god never again, I know it was cheap but the bed was awful, had to put clothes underneath the one small pillow for support, shower didn't drain properly, mould on bathroom ceiling, plastering coming off the ceiling on the stairwell, non existent air con, and when we did open the window we were savaged by mosquitoes. Probably the same as previous guests due to the squatted mosquitoes on the walls! Oh and to top it off the lift was out of order. Will pay extra on our next visit for somewhere more cleaner and more comfortable.
