Verblijf in dit hotel is van aankomst tot vertrek, één groot feest. Vriendelijk onthaal door vakbekwame mensen die weten hoe je een hotel runt. Dit vind je in alle aspecten terug. Het diner is uitmuntend evenals het ontbijt en de kamers zijn netjes en schoon. Het hele plaatje klopt. Het was een heerlijk verblijf en wij komen zeker terug. Dank voor alles. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hosts, friendly with a real care and flair catering to all, even the very young ones. Made us from New Zealand feel very welcome. Our Mr 5 was super polite and chuffed with making his own ice cream this being, after having played happily in the large cosy kids corner during our entrees before joining us for the main meal. Lovely meals to boot, large spare rib portions. Beautiful little village.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great stay. The food was amazing: enjoyed every meal to the fullest! The room could have been a bit cleaner (some spider rags and a bit of hair in the shower. The staff was great: most friendly. These people put in their effort to make your stay as smooth as possible.

It is surrounded by trees and some leaves can accumulate making it look messy, however, from the moment you enter, you are greeting with a very warm and candid welcome. Our room was simply but very spacious and clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and did a la carte instead of the special 3-course dinner menu. The owners run the hotel and restaurant and they do with passionately. Stefan will explain in details each menu item in such a way that you will want to order everything. His wife Lily is from Mexico , learned Dutch in 3 years and will serve you with such a warm smile (RESPECT). I highly recommend the accommodation and the experience of dining at Smaok.
