Hotel de Walvisvaarder is gelegen aan de oostkant van het prachtige eiland Terschelling. Dichtbij wad, strand, bos en polder. In het hotel worden vrijheid en ongedwongenheid gecombineerd met gastvrijheid, welke elk jaar weer mensen terugbrengt naar Terschelling.
De verbouwde boerderij vormt een goede uitvalsbasis om het eiland te verkennen en daarna heerlijk thuis te komen. Na een dag fietsen, een rit met de huifkar of een lange wandeling over het strand drinkt u gezellig een drankje aan onze bar of op ons terras.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, good breakfast and pretty good rooms, though that may vary a little from cosy to large and great location to OK. Still, location on the island is perfect with a good selection of restaurants within 15 minutes by bike. Great bartender!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is perfect, as it is in the centre of the island Terschelling. The rooms are very organised and spatious, and the cleaners do a good job of keeping everything clean. The food service is unusual, but I believe that ot's a great way of tackling dinner. By having a set dinner rotation of a few weeks, the people will eat something different every day ansthe food will be served very quickly, but it will still be of great quality. The workers are very friendly and very approachable. I am very happy with the accomodation and I can say with confidence that I'd suggest this hotel to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's no question this hotel is run wholeheartedly - with a genuine wish for all guests to be so comfortable we feel like we've come home. The shared spaces at the Walvisvaarder are more like one giant living room filled with friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 3 nights, super lovely place with a great atmosphere! The staff are really friendly and super helpful. The room we stayed at was also beautiful and the beds were really comfortable. Also the bus stop right next to this place was really handy for getting around. Would definitely recommend & visit again :)
